It was 7 days ago, where we discovered an Italian restaurant highlighting all the typicalities of Italy, the wines (try the rosé Prosecco! , the pasta (of all shapes , the gnocchi... all perfectly cooked. For me it is my favorite restaurant in Paris. The dishes are very well prepared with incredible flavors. The chef is attentive, provides impeccable service and with a smile throughout the meal. He takes the time to passionately explain to you the origins of each of the ingredients that make up his dishes. An incredible culinary and human experience. A cook absolutely passionate about the products he sources himself from his acquaintances and family. A niche but splendid wine list, with references you won't find anywhere else. Special mention for the daily specials, of remarkable complexity for Italian cuisine without compromising its authenticity. The service is a little long because the chef is alone in the room (even more so if you have a large table) but it is worth the detour! The culinary and human experience was excellent at the Pupetta restaurant. Although it was not supposed to be open to the public that day, the chef still welcomed us very warmly. The dishes delighted our taste buds, and the explanations on the products were welcome. The chef even put a candle on one of the desserts because we were celebrating a birthday. I highly recommend it! It’s finally a restaurant that I was looking for to discover and appreciate real Italian gastronomy. It is not a story of pizzas or pasta with a poor, more or less good sauce, but of a real serious journey into the inventiveness of this unique and passionate chef who only brings fresh produce from a on the one hand and authentic on the other. The wines are to match and complement the meal perfectly. My advice is not to follow the menu and let yourself be carried away by the chef’s ever-changing suggestions I traveled without leaving Paris and left the restaurant late without realizing it Go there with your eyes closed.
