Had take away cod chips peas food was very good, but of a wait, however it was cooked fresh. Just need a bit of organisation. Would go back again though . Portion size good and price wad reasonable Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We waited for over 20 minutes for our chips, with no line. The chips were frozen, flavorless, and reheated. The service was lacking. We ordered a takeout meal for lunch. The cost per person was £10–20. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 1 out of 5.

Called here twice to purchase fish and chips (dine in)each time it was a Saturday including this w/e closed at 1.00pm no one in sight. Notice on pavement indicating they were open, opening time and closing times on window but the doors are locked. Three OAPs wet tired hungry and in need of a hot drink not a nice experience. I visited today for lunch with my wife and mother in law. We all had fish and chips with peas. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff and the food was excellent both in terms of taste and quantity. The value for money was very good too. Definitely the best fish and chips we have eaten in a long time. All in all well worth the almost 100 mile round trip from Breedon on the Hill. Thank you. Rod Theaker

The fish and chips at this restaurant are outstanding. The cod was perfectly cooked and the batter was exceptional. There is parking available right next to the restaurant. The service for takeout was great. This is a perfect spot for a dinner meal, with prices ranging from £1-10 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all received top marks. Highly recommended dishes include the fish and chips. While there may be limited options for vegetarians, it is still somewhat recommended. There is plenty of parking available, with free parking lot options.
