Extremely good food, atmosphere and friendly staff. The atmosphere is homely.

Food itself was okay, we came to a business lunch, about ten people. We left over 400 euros behind and we actually had to pay for the nightcap after dinner ourselves. In general there was no welcome tone from the service staff, we sometimes felt out of place or unwanted! What a shame! Speisekarte ansehen

Während unseres kurzen Aufenthalts in Frankfurt haben wir am 31.12.2024 im Joes Pena zu Abend gegessen. Tolle Atmosphäre, großartiger Service! Allerdings waren die Gerichte sehr schlicht, nicht schlecht, aber für den bezahlten Preis erwarten wir etwas Besseres. Trotzdem kann ich dieses Restaurant empfehlen.

Der Service war nett. Die Gerichte schmecken okay, eine 5 auf einer Skala von 10. ABER… mit allem gebotenen Respekt, Leute, die Preise für diese Portionsgrößen sind nicht akzeptabel. Als Beispiel: 14,90 € für einen kleinen Teller Guacamole oder dieser Vorspeisenteller für 30 € für 2 Personen sind absolut zu viel. Das gilt für fast jedes Gericht auf der Speisekarte.

Der Service war großartig und sehr freundlich! Der größte Kritikpunkt ist die Vorspeisenplatte. Meine Gruppe findet die Preiszusammensetzung verwirrend. Der angegebene Preis versteht sich pro Person und beginnt nicht bei (14,95 für zwei Personen). Nun, wenn die Platte nach 2 Minuten am Tisch steht, ist das auf der einen Seite toll, aber auf der anderen Seite wird damit klar, dass die Speisen nur kurz aufgewärmt und dann serviert werden (sehr schön angerichtet!). Die Menge des Hauptgerichts hat mir wirklich gut gefallen, aber meiner Meinung nach hatte es relativ wenig Geschmack. Ich habe mir mit Salz und Pfeffer geholfen. Behind this facade there is a real culinary highlight. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The dishes came to the table quickly and were convincing in every respect. Joe Pena's Cantina y Bar is a fantastic place to unwind with amazing drinks and delicious Mexican food. The cocktails are top-notch, and with the happy hour deals, it becomes an even more appealing spot to hang out with friends or enjoy a night out. Though the menu only offers three vegetarian options, each one is exceptionally good, showcasing great flavor and quality. The nachos are particularly nice, making for a great starter or snack to share. The friendly staff adds to the positive experience, always attentive and ready to assist with a smile.
