"we were impressed here once before, as they had a good choice of vegetarian options. I had searched online it showed that they had a feta tea with salat new kartoffeln. when we arrived, we got another page...Menu that had only one choice for vegetarian veg burger, chips, wobbles a very unhealthy option, not something I would normally choose. I asked the waitress about the feta tart she said the owners had changed the menu but did not change it online. they would not have a meat option on a menu, so I am not sure why it is acceptable that as vegetarian my meal choice already made very disappointing. the waitress was brilliant, was very friendly efficient. my meal was served on a wood chipper when I asked if I could swap it on a plate, she immediately brought me a warm plate. other diners seemed to enjoy their meal, but I fear that the lack of choice meant for me that I felt very disappointed."

"Food very nice , but rushed out before we had finished. Staff were actually removing our plates , whilst we were still eating.Restaurant had booked another sitting after us , but only gave my party 45 minutes to finish before we were pressured into gulping food due to staff hovering over us ,wanting to reset the table.They didn’t give us time to look at the bill, so when we went to pay they just took the bank card from hand and used the contactless device instead of allowing us to check and make the payment.Up to the last 10 minutes, everything was good. Which is a shame because this is where we tend to go to regularly and now we are unlikely to go again."

"On Sunday, the restaurant was quite busy and they had stopped taking reservations due to being fully booked. We only wanted drinks, so we found a quiet area in the next room where two football matches were being shown. The staff was very friendly, and they even offered to set up the Newcastle game for my brother-in-law if we had stayed longer. I had a fantastic meal here last year, so I highly recommend visiting this place."

"booked in advance for 7 o'clock had to wait outside to ten past and unbooked people first sitting, after half an hour we wait our order in, 4 starters came 1 was 15 minutes later, after we were all finished, we had an hour to wait for the main meal, service was appalling, I would have given it 1 star, but that was nicely cooked, though as local buzzers I expected"
