a popular local pub, recently renovated. the kitchen is open now. a pub that serves a good selection of food, both during lunch and dinner. booking is amust. good beer garden and again very busy at all weathers at the weekend above all.

Great place to come and eat. Different seating areas. Staff are fab and the food never disappoints. I had the vegan salad the other day and it was excellent. My plate was clear. My friend had the chicken pie and said it was delicious too.

Had a wonderful time here. Decor is great as the atmosphere. Didn't eat, but was jealous for all that I saw. I was served by Nell, who was wonderfully friendly and a top night. A pub just as good as staff and Nell made my visit really special.

Such a nice local pub. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Food is good reliable. Drinks good price. The pub itself is child-friendly and very dog-friendly. Large garden for warmer weather and I never had a problem finding free street parking (although there are also a few paid places on the street). Very recommended.

Food, drink, staff and hospitality are exemplary. Bange Mash is my personal favorite. The new chef is an excellent addition to the team; cooks to perfection and garnishes with seasonal vegetables. Ask Lucy for the perfect Irish coffee; ask Nicola for the perfect Dark Stormy cocktail; Dimi can be counted for the perfect pint of Guinness.

I have to show my appreciation for a lovely evening at this pub, that's situated in a brilliant location in Winchmore Hill. The customer service was a pleasure as we were made to feel very welcomed from the moment we arrived, with all drinks served throughout the evening with smiles on their faces. This pub offers large indoor outdoor spaces to enjoy your drink/food with plenty of seating. All areas are kept clean with any empty glasses collected promptly. 5* Would recommend on a positive experience

This used to be my second office for years but stopped when the current owners did a modern refurb and the staff changed. The place was just not as cosy and friendly. However I accidentally popped in recently only to find the place had a total refurb again giving it a more classical Victorian pub/restaurant feel ..The pub and garden now looks amazing they even have breach huts and a garden bar ..The staff are extremely warm and friendly.. especially Domique... The new concept will get me back to come back using this pub. Oh and the Ox cheeks croquettes are great. I will be setting up office again..no more working just from home this summer.
