Food was outstanding, seated beside a wall of glass with a spectacular view of the countryside around gorgeous San Gimignano.

Dreadful food: rubbery, bland chicken. Tasteless pasta. Poor wine was recommended by the waiter. Slow service. A lot of other customers sat on the terrace also looked underwhelmed by the food. Absolutely no atmosphere at all!

We stopped for a luncheon after a short rental drive from Firenze. We were nicely welcomed and seated, promptly and attentively served for a reasonable cost, and did enjoy the pasta, vino, and pizza; and the wonderful view to the north of San Gimiglano. Speisekarte ansehen

We went there off-season. Not many tourists, but filled with locals. The food was good traditional Italien dissed, nothing fancy, but authentic and tasty. The table wine was ok, but they have a good, reasonably priced wine-list if you want to become more sophisticated.

i like the location possible to see walls of San Gimignano and is just a minute walk from main square here. So great location, service was friendly, despite that we waited bit longer. Food was ok, but it could be better comparing to price. Still place shere is good to come and relax.

Found this place when we went to do our laundry one night two doors down). Really good steak , chicken and veal dishes and good vegetable side dishes . Was a nice change from the pasta , pizza onslaught elsewhere and was very reasonably priced . Our host was excellent and the service overall was great . Speisekarte ansehen

Had dinner here last night. You enter then go downstairs only a few steps. Just off the main square a very nice restaurant. A good varied menu with a nice wine list to complement the food. All of our food was prepared fresh and tasted great. The service here is very friendly, nice people. We had a nice relaxing meal. Worth a visit if you want a quiet relaxing meal.

We found this little restaurant just off the main square and expected we would find it expensive and touristy. Not at all. It was very quiet when we arrived but as we left it was full. We all had different main meals and all tried each others food. Every meal was beautiful with particular mention of pear and gorgonzola risotto (superb) and saffron and vegetable risotto (really lovely) . Inspired enough to replicate on arrival back home from the cruise. What a great find. Excellent

Having checked out several restaurants on the main tourist trails in San Gimignano, my partner picked this one for dinner, some way along a side street. It turned out to be a brilliant choice. In addition to it's semi basement indoor seating, there is a mid size terrace with a view at the back, where we secured a table and watched the sun sinking slowly in the sky. If the weather is fine, I would favour the terrace over the indoor space. We ordered up a bottle of Vernaccia di San Gimignano (I highly recommend this varietal when ordered locally).
