We just passed and arrived at 6:30 a.m. lucky to have a table inside__This is an absolute oyster bar with cheese and sausages and candy__I highly recommend it

If I was talking better French, I'd have a better idea of what I had. I was entitled to the seasonal tasting of the plateau which was a dozen oysters of four kinds.

My partner wanted a fresh seafood for lunch. It's a small, family run restaurant with a 99% oyster menu. 24 fabulous oysters with an excellent bottle of local wine for an extremely reasonable price..... Next time we are in Bordeaux we will be back.

We started off with a tasting plate of different oysters and then chose our favourites. We paired with a fine entre de mers.The staff were really lovely and the ambience was great.It's not the cheapest of places but if you're going to do one thing, do it as well as these folks.

The lunch menu at €20 is GREAT value - starter, TWELVE oysters, glass of wine and dessert. €20!! The friendliest staff we've come across in Bordeaux too. The oysters were fresh, the bread was fresh, the wine was chilled - we'll probably go back again today.... definitely recommend. Speisekarte ansehen

Place is medium size with oyster cleaning place out of the restaurant, service is very basic (could be better...) and the menu essential with a few choices but good quality and reasonable prices considering what they sell. Wine list as well is short and ok regarding prices. Nice place if you're in central and you want oysters or foie gras.

Loved a dinner here. Waiter took time to explain (in the best English he could muster) that the Oysters vary on a scale of salty and scale of slimy (or that's what I think he said). Opted for the tasting platter which had a selection of most and it was amazing to taste exactly what he described. First time I had different oysters in one platter and it was amazing to taste the different levels of salt and different textures. Service was prompt and friendly. PS the amazingly clean kitchen that many mentioned was amazingly clean and the chap was cleaning the clean kitchen still!! Well worth a trip if you love oysters

This place is all about oysters. If you love them you will love this restaurant. If you don't know if you like oysters, you will love them after trying them here. Gracious service, freshest oysters ever. We ordered a dozen of "the big ones" and they were great. E32 so not cheap but worth every euro. We also tried their fish soap. Never had it before and it was delightful. Served with an aioli, croutons and some delicious shredded gruyere. Delicious! We noticed that some locals ordered a side of sausage with their oysters so we did too. It was nice but nothing to write home about. We washed everything down with a half bottle of a nice Graves white wine. We loved everything about our lunch and... Speisekarte ansehen
