"We had lunch at La Cabana after visiting the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj. It is located in a small laneway and we easily navigated to it using Google maps. Our meals were delicious. The lasagna and the spinach and ricotta ravioli were both very good. Insalata mista is also very good. Balsamic vinegar and olive oil are provided. The staff are friendly and very attentive. We were given sufficient time to review the menu. Meals were served after about 15 minutes. The menus include English translation. A good wine and beer list. The house red wine is ok. Indoor seating only with aircon. Vegetarian friendly. Clean bathrooms with sufficient paper."

Dined here with my family after a long day at the Colosseum and Forum. We were able to make a short-notice reservation by phone. They serve delicious, authentic Italian food. We had Caprese and sliced prosciutto for an appetizer. I'm always a sucker for Pasta Carbonara so that's what I ate. And why not since it's a traditional Roman dish? The meal set me back about 173 Euros for a family of 5.

Five year ago when we first went to Rome, my husband and I went to dinner here because it was by our hotel. We loved it and wound up going the last night we were in Rome to end on a high note. Well we were just back in Rome and this place was definitely on our list and it was even better than the first time. The food is exceptional and I can’t stop thinking about it. This place is a gem. I’m so glad we found it, considering that there are a lot of touristy places that want to sell you on the outdoor dining, but the food doesn’t look good. La Cabana’s food is exceptional!
