"My friends purchase of a property lead my partner and I to this part of rural France. A late arrival and a recommendation from a local guy bought us to La Cabane to get something to make do for the night. My French is terrible, the hosts English wasn’t the best but he was very pleasant and extremely patient but we were able to place an order and had a beer whilst we waited. The menu is very limited but this is a good thing, stick to what you do best. The chef came through with our food, a very nice guy who explained the burgers were made from local beef, the bun was made by the village baker and the fries were made from potatoes grown by the owner. We left with our food with the guys hoping we enjoyed them. Let’s just say we were back the next day! A tiny bar, in an equally tiny French village, served one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten, c’est magnifique."

Good restaurant, warm welcome from the team... home-made meal with fresh products ... we have good breakfast at the cabin that would deserve a real terrace. for its development. I highly recommend it.

Please visit this lovely restaurant situated in front of the village church ! Warm welcome from the owner and the staff , delicious salads burgers , possibility to eat on the terrace with the church bells ringing every hour and half hour SO relaxing THE place to be when you visit the Limousin
