"Ristorante ai piedi del forte di Bard. Non ha molti posti a sedere e purtroppo a pranzo non accetta prenotazioni. Oltre alla mini-saletta che ha all'entrata del locale, ha ricavato un'altra piccola sala nel vicoletto più qualche posto esterno (solo estivo). Piatti tipici valdostani, porzioni abbastanza abbondanti e buoni. Una fonduta un cinghiale con polenta, acqua ed un calice di vino due dolci ci hanno sfamato in 2 persone più bimba ed abbiamo speso 65 euro. Consigliato se siete reduci da una visita al forte di Bard"

"I was looking for a restaurant open on the 25th night and found it right under the house! Perfect location, exposed stone, ancient parquet and fireplace always on. Service: impeccable, punctual and not intrusive, but I found a bent glass. Menù: perhaps a little too traditional, without too many innovative ideas. Kitchen: all well cooked with excellent raw materials, maybe my deer was cooked a few more minutes, but the rest was great. Winery: well-stocked, our barbaric silvia rivella really cheap. Price: good, but not great value for money, especially the second dishes are a little carucci. Overall a good restaurant right at the entrance of the fort bard, not suitable for mass tourism (for them there is the bistro 5m) with a more innovative menu can further increase customers."

"we arrived here by chance... and thanks to the case we ate in one of the best places in the Aosta Valley. here you will find the real local cuisine, heated by a great wood fireplace mastering in the dining room. the menu does not have much choice but let's say that here every choice is the right one...taglieri di salumi e cheese, gnocchi e riso conditi from excellent local cheeses. the wine is a strong point because they are producers therefore also the wine of the house is a must! we arrived by chance and we leave with the smile."

"Di nuovo con la squadra di calcio, stavolta prima della partita, mangiamo alle 12. Per i ragazzi un menu più light, noi ci sollazziamo, ma senza appesantirci troppo tra taglieri, antipastini notevoli e zuppe. Mirabile quella di castagne che fa anche da dessert. Gentile e puntuale anche il servizio (un punto in meno per la pur comprensibile difficoltà a spezzettare il conto), prezzi concordati e decisamente ragionevoli."

"We booked a table at this fabulous restaurant about 1 hour before we arrived. In truth, we were lucky to get a table but thank goodness we did. The food, the service and the ambience is all top notch! Lots of the food produced locally (0 kilometres). An environmentally friendly restaurant. My children had pasta which was well cooked and tasty. My husband and I shared a cheese board with local honey and jam included. I had a quiche for my main course, my husband has Carbonade, both were fantastic, tasty and fresh. The children had desert, a slice of tasty chocolate cake with apple slices within it and cream on the side. Delicious. This service is to a high standard too. It’s a great little restaurant and in a beautiful location."
