Tucked away in a beautifully decorated alleyway, our rumbling stomachs couldn’t walk past this osteria. As the staffs English is rather limited, and they do not work with a written menu, it proved to be hard to explain that we are both vegetarians. We thought we had made that quite clear, but as the antipasti came out: meat. Apparently they thought only one of us was vegetarian.
