"Il locale è situato su una delle strade più suggestive d'Italia. È frequentatissimo da noi motociclisti e non solo. La cosa che sorprende è che la cucina spazia da piatti di carne a piatti di pesce preparati ad arte .Una nota di merito anche per la fantastica pizza con la formagella di Tremosine. Complimenti al gestore per l'ospitalità e la professionalità. Ormai per me è una tappa fissa da anni."

Ottimo! Tappa d'obbligo... abbiamo mangiato veramente bene, cibo super abbondante e di ottima qualità. Se si passa per questa strada è obbligatorio fermarsi! Consigliato. Provate la cotoletta con patatine e il tagliere salumi e formaggi.

It's the third time we go to eat at the restaurant la Forra....as the other times everything perfect is good. I recommend it for a lunch or dinner in an intimate atmosphere and friendship. Staff very kind is available,beer and excellent grappa.

"After narrowly missing out on lunch in another village location we were 10 mins too late for service) we made our way up the mountainside towards Tremosine in hope! We passed one prospect but the plastic tablecloths and cheesy music put us off and so we continued on up the very narrow and tricky to pass mountain road. Lovely views but a nightmare road where we got jammed in gridlock on the way down. On the way up on the right hand side a large car park opened up next to a rustic looking building and this looked like, if nothing else, a good spot to have a short walk or turn the car around and head back down the road. However, it shortly became apparent that many maybe all) the visitors in this large car park were visiting the Ristorante Brasa. We soon found out why. Rustic chic, low prices, good food and a great atmosphere full of locals, birthday parties etc). We found the service very friendly and attentive. The food was very good rather than absolutely excellent but great value and I think the subject of rather harsh judgement from us due to being spoilt at other locations. By this time I was very hungry and over ordered not unheard of). A large and very good Vitello Tonnato enough for two my partner helped me along a little together with her large salad). Followed by a tasty home made and probably wood oven cooked) lasagne for me and pasta with cheese, mushrooms and prawns for my partner a little heavy but good). The stand out course was the grilled chicken. This was clearly cooked in the wood oven. Crispy, slightly dark and delicious on the outside, herbs permeating the dish, moist and tender on the inside This is highly recommended! All in all a welcome, excellent value and recommended lunch stop. Probably improved if you have a motor bike or a helicopter as getting there is definitely something for the brave or those with an already modified vehicle."

"This was an unexpectedly excellent find for lunch. Truly good food. The purple potato gnocchi with local cheese in the sauce were a revaluation. I had always thought of gnocchi being a rather stodgy and uninteresting pasts but these were light colourful and very tasty. The plum in the sauce gave a sweetness to offset the cheese and a really pleasing change in both taste and texture. The venison tortellini (maybe more Mezzelune than Tortellini) were great, with a really meaty venison sauce that was more a stew than a sauce. Altogether a most excellent lunch. There is free parking on the Via del Pozzo the walk down the cobbled street to the second turning on the right (see picture). Entrance is up the stairs, through the restaurant to the covered terrace. I would certainly recommend a day trip from Lake Garda driving along the lake and then up the spectacular Strada della Forra road (note one way, up, from 10:00 to 19:00) followed by lunch at Da Nando."

"Our visit to Ristorante Pizzeria La Baita was a most enjoyable experience. Immediately after walking in your struck by the warmth and home like feeling of the quaint, alpine style interior with its beautiful wooden beams and floor-to-ceiling windows! The outside grounds are just as beautiful and I imagine on a warm summer day or evening it's a great place to dine or just have drinks. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and accommodating. To start we had a couple glasses of wine and a plate of bruschetta for the appetizer, which were impeccable. For the main courses we shared the salmon and spaghetti bolognese dishes. The food was well-prepared and delicious, while the atmosphere was inviting and very relaxing. A great tucked-away place for food and drink, to eat, enjoy, relax and just soak in the absolutely stunning Lake Garda region."

"it was one of the most pleasant taste experiences of this holiday. I'll start with the service, very nice and always ready, friendly and smiling. we went back there the next day and again the food was top notch. delicious pasta, the best pizza I've ever eaten! amazing salad! the products were fresh and you could feel that they were of the highest quality! delicious pasta, perfect al dente, pizza with delicious olive oil. If we ever come back to Limona we will come to eat here again. I will miss these flavors!"
