we stayed at lunch in this small and pretty restaurant in the old town of sulmona, a Saturday (also quite late, coming from roma) and however we were sitting. excellent service and maximum friendliness of the staff of the room. the proposals of the menu are simple, but genuine, fresh and typical products of the Abruzzo cuisine, from the start to the first and second dishes. different wines. also note the sweet white chocolate dessert with lemon heart. a real delight. try if you go to sulmona, without hesitation!

This restaurant serves local, traditional food and wine. We were a bit disconcerted by the rule of 3 courses or nothing, but decided it was worth it and we could skip dinner. It did not disappoint. The food and wine were excellent. Two of the waiters had excellent English and advised us well. The most impressive dishes were the beef and duck carpaccio. I have never had such delicious carpaccio before. The pork cheek was unusual. We could not work out what we were eating but it tasted good.Warning for those on diets: the food is quite rich with lots of delicious olive oil but you can always skip dinner ...

Michelin stars are awarded to restaurants judged to be of a particularly high standard... while the food at this restaurant is very good, we have to express our discontent with the service. My husband ordered a bottle of wine during our meal. The bottle was brought opened to the table, we tried the wine and the smell was off. We requested another bottle and made a respectful observation to the waitress who laughed when we indicated that the wine was not good. Also, another individual of the restaurant indicated that the reason as why the wine was not opened at the table was for non sporcare il tavolo , not to get the table dirt... Speisekarte ansehen
