Honest food for honest price. Family run pizzeria with prompt service and good pizza. They are open when most of Orvieto's restaurants are closed. This may be very helpful in some cases. Simply good food. At least worth to try.

This time, we decided to try lunch, and homemade pasta umbrichelli Al ragusa di cinghiale. Family run, simple but local quality food, the owner and cook checked on us with genuine interest of prople who really care about their food, and their work. Convenient location, good food, good people. It is hard to go wrong in Orvieto, and La Palma makes a good down home meal.

We painted for nearly a month for our second stay at La Palma B B. We are planning our 3rd stay for this summer. We consider our hosts our family in Italy. We eat every meal at either La Palma or Enoteca Barberani. Breakfasts are made to order-ask for the omelette. Barberani is all you need to know about wine. Meals are always made to order--want arugula or artichoke hearts on your pizza--just ask--also traditional cuisine. Rooms overlook the tree-lined street.
