"Superb Sicilian cuisine!! We drove to Castelmola on the recommendation of our hotel. Upon arrival at the top, there is a restaurant busy with tourists on a viewing platform...ignore it! Continue in Castelmola and you come across Gallo Cedrone. Ricardo was an amazing cook/host that is very passionate about eating. We had a pizza and the eggplant abomatin with Parmesan. Bruchetta as a start was a pleasure to load olive oil and beautiful tomatoes with warm crunchy bread. Simple Sicilian food made to an incredibly high standard, with a beautiful view of Etna. Best restaurant in Sicily so far"

"local on a terrace with sea view in the immediate vicinity of door Catania. Very interesting menu with a good amount of interesting dishes. Excellent caponata, the paccheri to norm and couscous. but really at very high levels the sword to the Messina and even better the sword rolls and the straw in crust. really remarkable execution and presentation. among the sweets we enjoyed the tiramisù and the profiteroles. Friendly and efficient staff, fast service without interruption. Price compatible with quality and location. We found ourselves so well that we had dinner two consecutive nights and we plan a third to complete the menu"

"All right: the place is really nice, friendly and helpful staff, we ate very well, meatballs, cannoli, everything. but the absolute protagonists of the dinner were them: the macaroni to the black pig spider and ****. I think this dish fits into my top ten of favorite foods. absolutely nothing to say. exceptional."

"The place was nice, the starters were good while the spaghetti with clams were a bit disappointing as they were completely separate and looked more like spaghetti with oil with a few clams in the middle. The dining room staff could be seen in a hurry to leave as they started to collect the plates while some of us were still finishing their meals. Furthermore, asking us if we wanted a dessert, we were told that the chocolate cake was not available, coincidentally the only dessert that required a few minutes to cook and prepare."

"Ero in questo trattore da remoto quando lo gestivo era ancora Mr. Nino: la classica trattoria con cucina tipica siciliana, dove si poteva mangiare bene a prezzi accettabili. diciassette anni dopo, la gestione dei locali è il nipote, che ha sapientemente ristrutturato l'interno, ma ha avuto la gentilezza di lasciare il vecchio insegnamento, per voler sigillare una certa continuità con il passato, rinnovandosi. il risultato è comunque eccellente: cucina a livelli molto alti, porzioni giuste ma sicuramente non si esce da qui con fame, personale attento e cortese. Siamo stati qui nella serata di Capodanno e quindi c'era la fine dell'anno menu per guardare così tanti ma è stato denaro speso davvero bene, sono sicuro che il nino sarà molto orgoglioso di suo nipote per come sta gestendo questa attività storica di taormina. menzione speciale per il semifreddo agli agrumi che è tra i migliori dolci che ho mangiato qui in Sicilia"
