La Vallata - Speisekarte

Delicious genuine Tuscan food! We went here for dinner and enjoyed a selection of barbequed meat. Both the meat and the wine come from the restaurants own farm. If you love food and wish for a truly genuine experience of Tuscan cuisine, go here you won't be disappointed! We will definitely return here again in the future to try more of the fanastic food.

We stopped here on a rainy evening and all decided to have the Pizzas. They were cooked in the oven right behind us and the chef was busy getting ingredients and meats from the kitchen and cooking them in front of us. There was another chef cooking massive pieces of steak on an open fire and these looked fantastic. The pizzas were all different, beautifully cooked and delicious. Do not miss out...

This was one of my favoriteplaces we ate at in all of Tuscany. The staff was awesome. We arrived a bit early and they were so accomodating and sat us early. We ordered everything under the sun and they brought out extra stuff for us to try. The staff was amazing and the food even better!. It was a great night!!! dopo la visita al teatro del silenzio abbiamo scelto la valle, ottima posizione pizzeria, hamburger, braceria, personale cordiale e cibo istruito era buono ma il peccato e vi hanno portato tutti insieme senza darvi il tempo di finire un piatto e questa non è una buona cosa dal momento che la carne ha freddo tutti. lui sicuramente manca una piccola organizzazione tra comande e cucina .ma' lo consiglio vivamente

We went here for a quiet meal, this was our second attempt as we didn't realise that it was closed on Tuesday's. The food was nice and enjoyable but I wasn't blown away as I was in some of the other Tuscan restaurants. What did make our day was Andreas Bocelli arriving and sitting at the next table, it is of course his birth town. We shared a starter which was a sample of local food, this was ok and there was a good variety. The wine we had was lovely and I had a partridge pasta dish and my partner a cheese ravioli. I have been to La Vallata on three separate occasions. On each visit the quality of food and level of service has been dispicable,but I have assumed that the restaurant was having a bad night! On one occasion we could smell the burnt pizza before it arrived at the table! On another occasion we were asked to move tables three times because another resident had reserved our table- we refused to move when we were placed next to the toilets! Most recently I took a party of 12 residents to the restaurant only to find that we were the only customers and instead of being feted we were ignored- the staff preferred to sit another table and tell stories rather than look after our requirements On every... 19 of us visited here for a friends 50th Birthday whilst in Tuscany. Corresponded with them direct via email on our request and they were very responsive and helpful. We arrived at 400pm and had exclusive use of their pool and had antipasti outside by the pool which was amazing the most fantastic tastes and variety. The olives in garlic were delicious. Then at 630pm we moved inside for the grill and pizza dishes. Nothing was too much trouble and the service was exceptional. Really I wanted to give this place 3.5...cos it was better than average but not very good and that is because we had a limited menu choice.....unfortunately the restaurant was closed because they were having a wedding so we went to the pizzeria and possibly chose badly.......the service was very good .... I love it when they go Wine?...you say yes and they get you a red wine ...or white...no choice.....(my wife says there was a wine list but kept that quiet till now.....sneaky). This restaurant was recommended by our hosts when we were visiting the area, so we visited for an early evening meal (by Italian standards at least). The staff were just finishing up a wedding reception and told us the restaurant couldn't serve us for another 45 minutes to an hour, but we could have drinks in the bar/farm shop. We went ahead and did that and watched a beautiful sunset from their outdoor area. The view was magnificent! Sitting down to dinner later, we basically ordered antipasti to share (both the meat and vegetarian ones based on recommendation), pastas and main courses.
