"On our frequent wine trips to France, this is most often where we have breakfast as some of the budget hotels don't provide it. You can get a very good Full English but we prefer to be French when in France and enjoy fresh croissants, pain au chocolat or freshly baked bread with jam and butter. Nice coffee - they also have tea properly made in a pot - and a glass of good quality orange juice for 6.50 euros each. They also have an excellent lunchtime and dinner menu, bistro style with some nicely made specials, often including mussels. Friendly service, recommended, Beer and cider on draught. Gets busy midday."

We have been popping in here for a diet coke (in a proper coke glass) for many years of shopping at Auchan. Fab and great-thanks always. PF1

Speisekarte ansehen

Recently had a much needed make-over. I've been having lunch here on day trips to Calais for a number of years now and it's been OK as it's handy if shopping in Auchan supermarket, but last visit was a real disappointment with poor service being the main reason. Won't be going back again!

You do not need to know French to eat here, I believe it is a Family run place by its atmosphere. We always attempt to order in French, and it is always said to us in English....lol. I am a self taught chef, and I am also a food critic, the kids have the basic something and chips. this is obviously freshly cooked each time to perfection. I normally have the muscles in which ever juice I decide on the day, served with chips and plain frech style bread slices. WOW..... Perfect.
