Le Loup Blanc - Speisekarte

I am shocked by the bad review I just read, but it was over a year ago and perhaps changes occurred since then.

We dined at Le Loup Blanc yesterday as a group of eight and everyone of us was pretty happy with their food choices.

Down a little alley, you come into a yard. Set out as a nice little restaurant. The food was delicious and the fish plump and tasty. We had a wonderful evening. Well worth a visit and not expensive.

I found it really interesting that French food is hard to find in Gordes, everything is pasta or pizza, which I must confess is a little disappointing for such a beautiful part of France. This restaurant offered lovely food at a reasonably price and didn't involve pasta or pizza.

This was a very popular restaurant for both lunch and dinner. We were here for lunch. We ordered salmon salad and tuna. Salmon slice was smoked. Tuna was half cooked. They were fresh and delicious. The prawns were delicious. The foie gras was also excellent. The Magret was decent but I prefer it served sliced. The wine was a little pricey but it is Gordes . I would change the price rating to $$$-$$$$ because we shared apps and had no dessert and only 1 bottle of wine for 4 and it was 40€ pp.

We were recommended to this restaurant by our concierge as well as some German and British tourists we met.Modestly priced, the fish and other dishes were very good and served with alacrity.The local wines offered were among the best we sampled.We recommend this one, be sure to reserve in advance as they fill up early!

We were the first guests to arrive at the restaurant at 730pm. We were greeted and sat where we liked. Most guests sit outside the main restaurant.We had the main menu of the day and after starters my wife had a very generous dish of prawns in garlic and I had beautifully cooked Duck with some fat still on it.
