they have now significantly improved their vegan selection: avocado tartine (on brot,) grilled vegetables tartine, daily suppe, hummus, guacamole, tabbouleh and two desserts. so they get a very nice selection of things to eat, although most are cold.

the location is right at the foot of the dolderbahn and therefore ideal to get some nutrients before they start their hike. than the others, eating is quite expensive, but freshly prepared and full of taste. especially the brot and the baked are authentique.

Gutes Frühstück, viele Optionen, aber der Kaffee ist wirklich enttäuschend. Sie haben eine richtige Maschine, aber man merkt, dass es keine richtigen Batistas gibt, die den Kaffee zubereiten (Milch ist nicht richtig gedämpft, flaches Weiß schmeckt wie ein Cappuccino usw.).

I had several times to eat for the removal, but I also went out several times to buy something. I often find no thing that appeals to me, as the vegan options are limited and labels are missing for ingredients and prices. when I buy, it tastes good, but eating is too expensive.

Used to be a nuce place for brunch! Now its just chaotic, service is slow and sloppy, and the food is overpriced and the quality declined. The croissant used to be fragrant like the one of Montmartre, now they are probably freezed. The coffee is also gotten worst. I used to live the place 5-6 years ago, now it’s absolutely not worth it. Go to Montmartre instead!

Stark überbewertet und überteuert. Rührei wurde kalt serviert und erinnerte leider an Hotelessen statt an ein schönes Bäckerei-Restaurant. Eier-Benedict-Natur (kein Schinken) wurde zunächst mit Schinken, dann ohne Soße und auf einem armen Stück Brot serviert. Der Preis am Ende ergab keinen Sinn. Bei einem erneuten Besuch brauche ich Überzeugungsarbeit, um mehr als einen Kaffee zu bestellen.

We went there for brunch over the weekend. It can get pretty crowded, so it’s better to book in advance or come a bit earlier. I was a bit disappointed with classique brunch as the portion was quite small and you get a lot of bread. They didn’t bring me any jams and I only realized that I could have asked for it before leaving. I would recommend the cooked ham with gruyere or the tartine. Quite tasty

One of my favorite Cafes in Zurich, pet friendly and kid friendly. Great location, cozy environment and a very diverse menu, they have a lot of brunch, lunch and pastry options. There is many tables outside and inside, including a HUGE table that you can share it with other people or reserved for a big group. The staff is friendly, fast and efficient. This place is one of those where you can spend hours talking with friends and having hot chocolate, coffee and delicious food!

Same quality of baked goods/pastries as other Pain Quotidien globally … but the coffee is abismal. The service is not that great either, as the place is usually understaffed and hence they don’t follow up to check on you. We had to get up to pay our bill, because no one was even walking by our table. Also disappointing since my dog was super thirsty and we never even got the chance to ask for a water bowl. Takeaway is an option though, and you can take home freshly baked croissants pain au chocolat which are delish
