We also ordered a margarita pizza for our son and that one was a bit dull with too much cheese on it. I ordered a salad with crispy chicken and a lamb burger. The salad was fresh and tasty, the lamb burger was very good, super tasty patty with goat cheese and a flavoured thyme sauce. It was certainly the best part of the meal. The dessert buffet featured some yummy tart tatin with summer fruit, eclaires with chocolate and flan a caramel, the other cakes were a bit dry and less enjoyable."

On a north-south road trip, I stayed at the very basic Artenay FastHotel, and took a chance on its restaurant. Possibly it was because I'd just suffered ten days of Polish food, but this place exceeded my low expectations. Quite a pleasant atmosphere. I chose the evening buffet for 17 euros. A perfectly good effort.

We had a quick dinner here while staying at the hotel. They offer a good choice of food at reasonable prices. We had some yummy and juicy special burgers (duck and lamb), which are the menu's highlight (there are also pizzas, salads and an extensive buffet). Ended with a nice dessert and had a decent bottle of wine. All the while, the dog could sit with us under the table. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and are doing more than their best to uplift the place. Would definitely come again on a stopover.
