We like eating here. ..just us or with friends. There's something for all tastes and moods !!! The staff are ok....the chef us always a happy chappy. The girl at the till is not.... !! Quite rude, in fact

This 'all you can eat ' buffet restaurant is a favourite of ours. There is a good choice of sushi, various Chinese dishes, food cooked on a wok while you wait, desserts including a selection of tarts, ice cream, eclairs etc. As previous reviewers have said this makes a great change from the usual menu du jour offerings. Drinks are also at reasonable prices.

We visited recently and were so impressed. The choice of food is unbelievable. From regular Chinese buffet favorites to sushi, and a chef who will prepare fresh ingredients on the grill for you. We were lucky enough to visit with a Chinese friend who introduced us to so many new dishes. We loved it. Delicious ice creams and puddings, go there hungry and enjoy the feast you won't regret it.

This is a help yourself buffet of all things oriental. Go hungry. You can start with sushi and Chinese cold starters. You can then have your choice of fish, meat and vegetables which are cooked while you wait by a very skilled guy using a high temperature wok. There are lots of different deserts to choose from, but I've never managed more than some fresh fruit after so much food. This is a very popular restaurant at lunchtime and we've never seen it quiet. That said, it is a large restaurant so you can always get a table.

We had been here a couple of years ago and had a good meal. We went last week again and as well as the selection of nems, samoussas, beignets, prepared chinese main courses and salads there is now a good selection of very fresh Sushi available, attractively presented and very fresh. The wok cooking is very good indeed with a comprehensive array of fresh ingredients available to choose from fresh raw prawns; squid; poultry and meats and chinese mushrooms and fresh vegetables. A good selection of sauces to choose from for the chef to cook your food and it was ultra fresh and tasty.

For a change of cuisine this is perfect. The lunch is €14:90 and you can eat as much as you like. There is something for everyone here. There's sushi, and plenty of cold starters. You can choose from a selection of meat,seafood and fresh vegetables and have it cooked in a wok while you wait. There are also plenty of desserts to choose from including fresh fruit. Children are catered for too. They can even help themselves to a selection of Haribo. However it is possible to eat quite healthily here and avoid fried food or rich sauces. This is our fourth visit and we have always enjoyed it. Service is quick and the staff do speak English if you need it.

Whenever we have visitors who are vegans , vegetariens , carnivores , picky eaters or friends who , like us eat everything , then this is where we head for . It's impossible to please all your family friends with a buffet at home , but at the Shanghai there is something for everyone no matter what they like as the choice is so amazing ! We come here regularly have never had a guest who went home hungry or disappointed at the superb buffet . I think it works out cheaper to bring your guests here , rather than try to please everyone at your home spend a fortune loads of time preparing clearing up afterwards .
