"restaurant located on a historic square in the middle of the old town. It offers a place to sit for a coffee, an ice cream or a beer. but also serves respectable food. we went with friends and ordered the "menu of the day". After an excellent cream soup, complementary to the house, the entry to the menu included cabecou and was really good. one of our companions, however, loved nothing of the "goat" and saw it turn into "fat faith" with a smile. We had the " Duck Confit" which was surprisingly tasty. the desert on the menu was ice cream, but on demand changed to pears with no additional costs. the overall experience was very good, the service was friendly and we ended up spending several hours talking, without any indication that we exceeded our reception. we went to this place a few months earlier and found that the prices varied greatly with "season", so it is an even better offer during the dead season."

"The location of this restaurant. Nestled in the ancient Terrasson at the crossroads of various small alleys, pleasant and full of charms. We were served on a terrace that can accommodate two large tables, quiet in a very nice setting. The cuisine is refined, well presented a pure moment of tasting and happiness. To crown a service with serious delicacy with a good point of humor. If you want to spend or share a good time, this restaurant is a must in the city of Terrasson (24)"

"While on holiday, this restaurant was highly recommended ... and deservedly so ! Our table on the terrace offered up amazing views of the river, which became even more appealing as the sun set ! We were also able to see the flourishing herb garden...which is used extensively throughout the dishes served. We all opted for the Chef's Special, which was a 3 course delight, starting with an unusual pairing of crème brule with a fois gras filling, followed by a delicious veal dish, and an amazing dessert. Our waiter was charming and explained each dish in detail. It certainly made our last evening in this gorgeous area very special, and I'm happy to recommend La Mandragore to anyone who enjoys a gourmet sensation."

"Fort d'une belle réputation, nous avons voulu tester. Effectivement, plats de terroir bien cuisinés, le veau était parfaitement cuit. J'ai regretté tous ces suppléments sur la carte. Surtout pour le foie gras. Pourquoi demander 3 € pour déguster cette spécialité de la région ?? C'est mesquin. Nous terminions notre dessert lorsqu'un bruit de tondeuse nous a obligé à interrompre notre conversation. Gentiment et avec humour, nous avons interpellé le patron sur sa tondeuse qui nous a rétorqué "Il faut bien que ça se fasse !" Soit.... mais après le départ des clients, non ? Une bonne cuisine c'est essentiel mais pas que....la décoration et ce mélange des styles laisse perplexe. Bien que délicieuse, cette expérience m'a laissé interrogative. Est-ce que j'y reviendrai ? Je ne sais pas..."

"The establishment in this restaurant is different from any other in this region. Very stylish, stylish and very tasteful. The quality of food is the same. The first time in France I didn't need a steak knife for my very delicate fillet steak. My wife had the lake bass that was served but super boiled, her starter was perfectly boiled scallops. It is rare nowadays to find a good restaurant in France, that is definitely one to go, you will not be disappointed. Lunch hours are the best."
