Lucia's - Speisekarte

After a soggy stroll, nothing hits the spot like a great coffee and delicious food. Lucia's offers just that, along with a warm greeting, welcoming service, and mouthwatering cakes.

My family and I often stop by Lucia's to pick up takeaway coffees and a sourdough loaf. This past weekend, we also decided to try their mince pies and they were the best store-bought mince pies I've ever tasted.

What a charming bakery! Although the seating was limited, I ended up getting some takeaway sandwiches and a sausage roll that were incredibly tasty. They also had a variety of delicious salads and baked goods that looked tempting. Speisekarte ansehen

Stopped for lunch, what a fantastic choice. My partner has various intolerances so had an awkward order but it wasn't too much trouble for them at all to adapt an item on the menu. Great coffee too. Good price for the touristy area! If we were local we would return :

As someone with a nut allergy, the man running the window was extremely helpful, offering to call the baker to find out the allergens so he could be sure for me. I got to enjoy a delicious Raspberry and white chocolate blondie I would normally have avoided rather than ask

had not been to this little gem for a year or two as i was out of Grasmere. now im back and went in today to get to sausage rolls. i was meet by the lovely Lucia . and my oh my the sausage rolls were just as good as they have always been . as i was off to work i was going to keep them for lunch the first one never made it to work the 2nd well made it to 3 pm . they were the best .thanks again i will be buying more Speisekarte ansehen

My husband and I visited whilst we were in Grasmere and we had the most delicious ice creams! I asked if there was a vegan ice cream and I was told there was a passion fruit one and I had that in a tub. Well, it was the most delicious ice cream I have ever tasted, full of flavour and you would never know it was vegan! My husband had a strawberry ice cream in a very tasty biscuit type cone which he said was also delicious. I only wish the manufacturer of the ice creams (Kimi's) had a shop near where I live as it only seems to be in the Lake district.

It was ok. Not sure what the big fuss is. The sausage rolls were nice and warm to take to the playground to eat but the cheese pie was fridge cold. We hadn’t realised this until we got to the park. I can’t understand why the lady serving didn’t check with us that this was this ok? My son definitely would have changed his order to a warm sausage roll. For us this has to be poor service but ok food hence the 3 stars. Being generous because I’m still a bit upset about the fridge cold pie. Surely a takeway bakery would point out a cold item? When it’s plainly obvious we are a family ordering to eat on the go? I just don’t understand that at all.

my partner and I come up to the lakes as much as possible and love to try these small independent cafes and we weren't disappointed with Lucia's! everything looked delicious! Elliot (I think that was his name) was great at going through their wide range of pastries, cakes and sausage rolls,ansering all our questions he also made us the best coffee (Redbank) we have tried in a long time! we ended up having a focaccia sandwich (B.L.A.T) chilli jam sausage rolls and a ginger crunch traybake witch was all homemade by their baker and it was amazing! we stayed in Grasmere for the whole week and visited Lucia's daily, this is now our favourite spot to eat. we will be back again soon!
