A lovely find, the staff couldn’t be more accommodating, even for a fussy eater, the food was absolutely delicious and fresh.

What a find this place is. Independent restaurant offering authentic Italian food. We had an excellent meal, everything prepared freshly to order. Service was outstanding. Strongly recommended

The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff were fantastic. Emma, Sam, and Mickey provided amazing service, and the food was delicious. Charlie and I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a fabulous evening.

We stopped by on a whim, hoping to snag a table. The food at this charming little restaurant was fantastic, with a cozy fireplace and excellent service. We enjoyed two courses, a glass of wine, and a lemonade for a total of £45.

Having discovered Luigi's on a previous holiday in Ambleside, I am happy to say on my latest visit on Saturday that it is still my favourite Italian, nice and cosy, great food and wonderful, attentive but not intrusive service by the young team. Great value, highly recommended.

We have just enjoyed a relaxing meal at Luigi’s, after a day in the Lakes. A very welcoming staff. The early bird menu from 6pm to 7pm is very good value. A nice ambiance, and dogs made welcome downstairs. I would recommend booking, as it’s a popular restaurant. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Ambleside.

This restaurant is wonderful, we felt very welcomed. The service, food, and house wine were all excellent. I ordered the penne arrabbiata and my husband had the lasagna. Both dishes were delicious and fresh, although if you have a big appetite I would recommend adding a side dish with the lasagne, as there was more than enough penne. We will definitely return on our next visit to Ambleside.

What a fabulous restaurant with the most delightful service. We sat downstairs in front of a fabulous fire. Whilst the weather was great in October, a fire is always welcome at night. Our food was delicious: spaghetti with a spicy tomato sauce and puttanesca with olives/capers, salty and tasty, we shared a garlic bread with cheese, a perfect portion to share. Washed down by a couple of glasses of good wine, what’s not to love. For me this was a joint first for the best meal and service during our week in Ambleside.
