Incredible cakes and great value for money. Owners are lovely and try really hard to make you welcome and give good service. I can’t wait to come back for some more cake and coffee!

Saw this on way passed, stopped up the road and walked back. Really fantastic decor with additional Xmas decorations. The service was very friendly and food very fresh, the scones are delicious

Themed cafe as name suggests. Very generous portions and very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and had gone go lots of trouble To make customers feel Covid safe. For a cuppa or a quick lunch this is the place.

We stopped in Coldstream just to stretch our legs and find a coffee house. Lovely town, wonderful spot. We fell in to this tea and coffee shop and had a great selection to choose from. Comfortable, welcoming and relaxing.

Had not long eaten so popped in for a cuppa. Was soon tempted by cake, after being informed they had just out the oven scones (scones, pronounced scones as in scones, not scones as in scones). Friendly service, good tea and enormous scones Speisekarte ansehen

When you visit a chain coffee shop you sell your kidney to afford a piece of cake that fits on a teaspoon. Not here, huge slab of homemade yummyness, compliments to Mrs Baker. Clean mindbending acid trip decor coupled with great coffee and super friendly service.

I was going to get a morning coffee and scone here, but despite the cafe being empty they would not let me in with my dog (a clean and quiet whippet). That's their prerogative of course, but don't bother trying here if you have a pet with you.Just to note, they have a cafe full of plastic screens, so are obviously taking COVID precautions very seriously.

What an absolutely delightful place.Despite the social distancing rules the atmosphere and the staff was so warm and welcoming.The food was outstanding and the main thing was that it was so fresh which was brilliant.I would definitely recommend a visit to the Madd Hatters Tearoom.Thanks as well for the recommendation to visit Norham Castle. An absolutely fantastic and very atmospheric place.This was part of a visit to the Borders and although only a short visit plenty was seen and it was a most enjoyable time during our staycation.
