Malta Inn Beefeater

The food was excellent. Katie was very attentive and worked hard running up and down those stairs. Bless her for the amazing roast potatoes. Happy belated birthday, Katie!

Been here a few times now and i seem to have to queue up for a long time to just get a drink. Never seems to be enough staff on the bar. The bar man was doing his best last night but clearly was under a lotvof pressure to keep the never ending queue down.

We had a booth to ourselves for 8 on Sunday 18th February. The food was delicious. Everybody had Roast dinner. I had salmon which was served with a delicious sauce. Everybody enjoyed. Our waitress was very good and took trouble to make sure we were satisfied . Speisekarte ansehen

There were eight of us and everyone had a problem with their dinner. The food and wait times were not great. The only positive was the man at the bar - Callum Johnson. He was very friendly and helpful. Callum deserves a raise, as he couldn't have been more helpful.

I waited for a long time and my main meal ended up being served cold. I could see the meals sitting in the kitchen waiting to be served for 20 minutes. It has been almost a month and I am still waiting for Beefeater to address my complaint. I would not return, I apologize.

Got to be the worst Sunday Roast (thats if you want to call it that) the whole thing was out of a freezer. The so called beef was all the same size and shape appeared chargrilled, hardly roast beef. The food was tepid almost cold, one potato was still frozen in the centre. I would not recommend this place to anyone, the service was so slow it was almost at stop.... Speisekarte ansehen

Just had the best fillet steak I’ve ever eaten at a Beefeater. It was perfectly cooked medium as I had asked and excellent quality. My partner had chicken and ribs the chicken was tender and the ribs falling off the bone. A big shout out to SamN as our server tonight very attentive, polite and cheerful. Also a big thanks to Lee and Callum for the excellent food ! Another lovely evening at the Malta.

We arrived early and made our way to the bar while we waited to called to our table.. I little slow at the bar as only one person on the bar.. but a happy chap served us. Once called to our table, service was quick and also gave us more than enough time to choose our meals…. Our waiter Sam N was very knowledgeable and gave us some good information about our choices… The food turned up just fine fine and in good time… Sam N also returned to check we was happy and also for more drinks.. He was very professional and gave the whole experience as big thumbs up. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meal and it was one of the best steaks we have had in a long while and impressed our few of beefeater.. th...

The staff at Malta Inn work incredibly hard but Management need to hire more employees for busy periods as it seems terribly unfair to expect just a few team members to cope with a fully/over booked restaurant. It is clear that the staff who were there, were trying their absolute best staying incredibly calm under so much pressure. We were served by John who normally works behind the scenes but due to a lack of serving staff had to step in. We had to wait about 20mins to be seated but our waitress was great as John was, trying their best to juggle far too many guests and quite frankly they deserve a medal or pay rise!
