The staff at this restaurant were extremely friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and served promptly.

The menu offers a fantastic selection. The main meals are generous in size, making it a great value for money. The service is attentive and top-notch.

The service at Mannings was outstanding and every dish was cooked perfectly. We have been dining at this restaurant for years and they consistently maintain this excellent quality.

We dined for my wife’s birthday, she said it was the best steak she had ever eaten. The food was amazing and all of the staff were so professional and friendly. The maitre D made everyone feel so special. We will be going again definitely

Very cold in restaurant all evening Food was amazing apart from cheese board .Chutney just plonked on dish and butter just looked like it had been thrown on Waitress knocked glass of wine over snapping stem off. She was very apologetic and horrified. It was an accident. Friend was given new glass of wine. I wasn’t offered anything apart from some tissue to dry from trousers which were soaking

Disappointed with choice of food for lunch. Portions substantial and good quality ingredients but the meal I ordered didn't really work in my opinion. The Asian Fish Tiffin box consisted of a good portion of dry steamed rice and poppadoms but no sauce unfortunately. The salmon, prawns and a very small portion of salad was tasty as were the 2 very large fish goujons and tartare sauce, but the whole meal was rather dry.

Food was lovely, every thing went well till we wanted to pay. Our waitress ignored us and cleaned tables either side of us. Another waitress ordered a taxi for 8 people opposite, the manager/ man with a beard shook the mens hands as the left at 10ish, but still no one could see us, even when we said excuse me or pardon as staff went by. We waited 40 mins to pay, having had a lovely evening we paid our bill plus 7.5% added. We normally add 10% or 15% and decided to retreat to the Longstore. Clearly going for the overnight business crowd or regulars.

Not been to Manning for 25 years, had really good memories of our very first visit and following a trip to the theatre we thought we would have a night out at Manning's, the food I think is over priced, the quality is of a reasonably good standard and the service was excellent but i think the value for money is borderline, the chef if clearly very good at presentation but I don't think he or she has been unchained as much as they could be with choice and flair which I am sure is clearly there, overall we had a good evening, we did not leave disappointed however I mentioned over priced unfortunately for the quality received.

We are regular visitors of Manning’s.This particular lunch was the worst.On arrival the bar appeared closed,but this was due to no lights,so dark and without atmosphere.A very quiet lunchtime with only 4 other tables booked.A fully changed dining staff done their job . The new head,Daniel.was very good but the service was not backed up by the food.The salad with the starters did not seem fresh,portions were small.although ample and tasty duck terrine there were only 3 little finger size toast with it.The mains again not up to the usual standard,rice was probably microwaved and the normally excellent steak sizzler was just swamped in Stilton.The restaurant has gone from a favorite to a maybe...
