"This place is simply divine. For starters it’s beautiful to look at and has an incredible ambience with a gentle backdrop of jazz and old movies projected on the back wall. It was lovely to watch the pasta being freshly made at the front of the restaurant and the chefs can also be seen preparing the food via two large overhead mirrors in the main restaurant a really nice touch! The menu is available both in Italian and in English and explains the origins of some of the dishes and the concept of “slow food”. The food itself is just lush, I had the Romagna meat platter/butchery board with some Piadina coupled with a few local wines. Fab! This visit was part of a site inspection as I am due to bring two large groups of musicians with me in July. I think this will be one of the highlights of their trip! It is located in the historical centre next to the market. Tasty food, however service was a little slow. Had to ask two or three times for an extra beer or clean utensils when course changed. Nevertheless it is a popular place and will visit it again next time will be in Ravenna.

Popular place with both tourists and locals it seems. It's a large establishment, with quite a few tables outdoors and many inside, in a former film theatre. And I did visit in august so perhaps a super busy time, take that into account. Pasta with culatello and rocket was very good, but the fish dishes were either nothing special or overpriced, depending on how one looks at it. Extensive wine list. Hope to be able to visit again and get a better experience, it feels as if there's more to this place.
