"that has been a regular hunting for many years. the selection of foods, portion sizes and the price-performance ratio are difficult to rival. it is a family-run business and owner and his employees are always friendly and welcoming. the decor is clean and bright and. there are also tables outside for those who prefer to see the world passing! my favorite is the ham and mushroom omelette with chips and borons if they are really hungry or a freshly prepared salate when I am good. there is also a daily roast. with a complete mix of regular customers they feel immediately comfortable and without doubt want to become a regular!"

Delicious food, big portions and friendly staff... what's not to love?! This is is by far the best cafe I have eaten in. It has a welcoming atmosphere not only for workmen but for families and just about anyone.

Having got back from holidays late the night before decided to pop in for a bite to eat. Son had burger and chips. I had a huge bacon sausage bubble egg and beans with tea and bread n butter! My eyes were bigger than my...tummy. Good cafe food quick, hot and staff pleasant.

This place was around the corner from where we were staying. That was perfect because prior to a 26.2 mile walk through the night we did not want to go far. We were totally impressed by the freshly cooked home from home breakfast, served with...a smile and great value for money. Couldn't have wanted for more. Thanks guys. We are feeling dated and happy. Will def come again when in the area. Speisekarte ansehen

This cafe is a gem, it is where all the local Council workers and builders go for their food. It is the best value I have come across ever in London. You can have a breakfast including tea and toast on bloomers bread for £5...! Unbelievable in this day and age but true. The food here is great and service with a smile I will use this cafe every time I stay in Morden. The cafe itself is small but has outside table and chairs, it is very busy so you may have to share a table but it is worthwhile.

We found this cafe a couple of years ago on our way to Wimbledon, and paid a return visit this year. It is situated a couple of minutes by car from the Morden Park and Ride. Friendly welcome from the efficient staff. Large choice of...cooked breakfast for £5. Mine included an egg, sausage, loads of bacon, beans and bubble and squeak. Also included in the price was two slices of thick toast and a cup of tea. My partner was equally impressed with her mushrooms on very thick toast. Will always choose this cafe when in the area.

"only at chez bruce ate, because our original choice to the jubilee dinner (thames river cruise) was cancelled at short notice after we had already booked our hotel: in wandsworth. instead of canceling the whole trip to london, I decided to try cb and see if they could fit us as they were only about 30 minutes away from our hotel. it was a Tuesday night when we were able to get in. I have bruce poole cookbook so was very excited to taste the restaurant and eating was really good. very similar to la trumpet in chiswick and I think they share. my starter of enoki mushroom salad with romaine, rump and comte was enormous. my cousin also thought her makrelenrillettes were first class. we have rejoined our head; I choose the hain that was outstanding again. my cousin complained that her pork was too much meat and not enough of something else. she was again on board with the dessert of white chocolate jerk and rusty ice cream. I had the cheeseboard that was good, but I had better. good wine list, with a little decent half bottle. However, the bottle was ordered by pomerol i was not available, but the sommelier hit an alternative, cheaper bottle that was very good. brot was very nice. service was okay, not great. there were some stretch before us to pour wein, to take plates that were both my cousin and I annoyed. but this little grip aside, I thought £200 without wein was pretty good."
