Martinos - Speisekarte

Had a family night consisting of ten people. All meals came hot and well presented. Table staff were lovely, had a good rapport with the children and the adults. Never felt rushed. Would definitely recommend.

Took our grandchildren for late Sunday lunch...strange comment but meal came a 'bit quick '. Salmon was dry as was one of the vegetable portions as if they had been prepared much earlier.. As it is one of our local restaurants we were very disappointed, however there is a lot more local restaurants in the area to choose from.

Went to martinos seaburn with my family and the owners we obviously in walking around dressed like scruffs and pulling the staff aside every 2 minutes! Staff were doing a great job but the owners made us and other feel uncomfortable the way they were going on. Put us right off and will never be back. We have been frequent visitors to Martinos over the years, that is up until our last. Visited with a friend and our children, man behind the bar (how he’s still working there as the source of so many complaints is beyond me) got my order wrong and then tried to blame me for it, leaving some some of our table without food and some with only part. No apology and just plain rude, haven’t been back since.

Went for the happy hour with two of my friends. Thing that really annoyed me was that my friends were sharing a bottle of wine and I was driving so on soft drinks. The waiter however would not take no for an answer and still poured me a glass of wine, which was left. We were then asked 5 times was the food ok, which it was however they simply wouldn't leave us alone. Food was nice but please let people enjoy it.

Visited on Wednesday with my family, we all ate from the 4.95 menu paid extra for other dishes we wanted. 2 of us ordered the chicken leek soup, it was lovely, the garlic mushrooms the potato skins were massive portions. We all opted for pasta again the portions were huge. We regularly visit the restaurant this was the quietest we've seen it. The staff are all canny, the food is good the selection on the menu is excellent. For 5 of us to eat 2 courses a bottle of wine it was only £50, can't be best Speisekarte ansehen

The first section of Martinos is called Portobello Shore ,we sat at one of the half moon shaped tables which was pleasant ,and bright with a big window behind us .Two of us had chicken ,which was a good sized tender breast ,and one had the beef which there was lots of and was tender and lean .there was a big Yorkshire pub on plate ,lots of gravy ,roast and mashed pots and each of us were served a separate platter of veg .Everything tasted delicious and the staff were extremely polite and pleasant .And to top it all it was easiest the lowest price we have paid for a Sunday lunch in a long time .We will definitely be back .

Came in out of the cold for a couple of beverages, only to be bombarded with less than satisfying products, the spirit measure had not been washed out, resulting in my spiced rum and coke tasting like the previous piña colada I witnessed being served. I was charged upon requesting this drink and after the barmaid had taken my money she decided to ask whether this would be a single or double measure. I also ordered a pint of John Smith's, more like a John's Pits, there was a strong distinct taste of copper and looked extremely watered down. My overall experience at martinos has been less than satisfying as far as the drinks go, fingers crossed and best of luck to those dining in this establis...

We were staying in the area following our football team and friends who live locally recommended Martinos. We were not disappointed. Whilst the outside of the building is uninspiring, the inside is very different. You enter into a spacious bar area with cosy booths, which then leads onto a busy restaurant. We visited on a Saturday night in January and the restaurant was packed. They do an amazingly priced early evening menu, however the normal menu is excellent value as well. Six of us shared excellent garlic breads, generous portions and super thin. Our main courses were a mix of pastas, all with delicious sauces and chicken Kiev.
