"Having lived on Mallorca now for two years and never once been to an Indian Restaurant here,my wife and I decided we should Give one a try WE picked ,after 1 hour on the web the Royal Indian Restaurant lots of Jolly altho Too Happy; looking customer pictures ,Serviettes and cutlery untouched, most people with NO FOOD in front of them. HOW they can write a review without having eaten. YES I KNOW they wrote it later.! Just indicating, the set up is SO HAPPY it does not ring true. Parking near the place is Madness. Took me 1/2 hour to find a spot.(OK not their fault) Oh how I WISH we HAD NOT FOUND the spot. The place looked very good. That was where it ALL, STARTED and ENDED. Have you ever been very hungry and REALLY looking forward to your Favourite meal. Eat it all because YOU WERE hungry and be amazed at your self, because the quality ,presentation, just about everything was absolutely AWFUL. My wife knocked her wine over! WHY?? She tried to pull the Peshwari naan apart, which was so old and cold ,that when it parted, her hand hit the glass and BINGO, there she was with a wine soaked (So called) Tandoori mixed grill and soggy knickers. The waiters RUSHED over to help?? NO. They ignored us. The Jolly Asian gentleman came over, way after the Wine incident , and asked in English. YOU ENJOY ?? Looking back now I feel it was an instruction. Just under 37Euro for absolute rubbish. A very UNenjoyable meal and evening, served without care by two rather scruffy Asian Hombres I did feel slightly better tho, after I told them that their Emporium Establishment whatever ;BUT certainlly NOT a restaurant; served the worse Indian food I have had ever had the misfortune to have been stupid enough to not only BUY but EAT. My wife thought it Hillarious and said Serve you right GUTS I was slightly appeased , when I had the last laugh as she got up to leave and ,squelched semi bow legged to the exit, shaking the last of the wine off her shoe. Thank you ROYAL INDIAN ,if you see us again,it will be in the restaurant OPPOSITE. PS, I also DO NOT believe ONE THING we ate was fresh or cooked in a Tandoor."

Very good service, very nice food and the decoration of the pace is really nice! I really liked the food and i really recommend it! It is better than other indian restaurants located in a more central-tourist area in Palma. I am coming back soon, next time in Palma.

Really bad takeaway we had 2 different Currys they both tasted exactly the same insane amount of OIL like too much and very watery to the point tomato soup would have more consistency, not amused and stomach is feeling it pretty bad. Nice friendly delivery guy but besides that don't bother.

Ordered a starter of vegetable pakora, a main of vegetable biryani. Both came at the same time. The pakora was more like onion bhaji and over cooked it was so hard and dry I couldn't eat it. The biryani was just rice vegetables no sauce whatsoever! Managed a few mouthfuls and left it. Very disappointing.

Very tasty food, great ambience and friendly staff. We had chicken tikka tandoori, spicy vegetable and beef dansak with rice, chapati and pappadum. We ordered another portion of rice and spicy sauce, which they didn't even charge us. The portions were large enough and the prices normal for Palma. The drinks were not expensive at all and the coffee was good. Totally recommendable!

I was actually really looking forward to our visit to the Royal Indian Restaurant and the Bollywood show. But I have to say, I was totally disappointed. The show was not a show... the dancer was a really nice Belly Dancer that danced 5 Minutes, but no Bollywood show (and 5 Minutes would not be called a show). The food was quite standard, I did not have the feeling of homemade or cooked with indian ingredients/species.

This was a good experience. We went for a dinner and were able to find a table easily. The starters were as one expected at any Indian restaurant but fortunately they were fresh unlike some of our prior experiences. The main course is ample in quantity and slighly more expensive than some other Indian restaurants but I guess that is what you pay for some better quality and a good ambience. The restaurant did feel exotic in terms of its ambience and I have heard that they do Bollywood show sometimes. But I am not sure. Overall a good experience and if I were not to try something completely new place, I would definitely visit here again.

For a good night out in pleasant surroundings, you could not find a better curry House in Palma. It’s not Basmati, that is in a different league, this is more for a good night out at the Royal India. We had a bit of a boys night out , and we were going to the Taj Mahal, but that was closed for refurbishment, so we went further down Blanqeurna to this place, a great find. Welcoming staff, attentive service, great Hindu food, we as ever ordered so much, but here was nothing left the starters especially the Chicken Kebab and the Samosas were fantastic, main courses all served with individual heated dishes, perfect nan breads, oh a joy! Even some Bollywood dancing to entertain us, then a couple...

Arrived early (unlike the locals) but there were a few diners. The place looks fantastic from the outside and has a real quality look and feel to the inside.... however despite a very wishing to please service..... Poppadoms were soft and had to be returned and replaced. Plates arrived and they were cold!!!! How can that possibly happen in an ambient temperature of 28C? Not wishing to moan again I upturned my plate over a candle to warm it. I wish I hadn 't bothered... The mixed tandoori grill was awful. Yesterday 's (possibly before) tandoori chicken that was dry, tastless and even lacking basic seasoning had been shoved in the microwave to warm it up! It takes about 5 minutes to cook it fr...
