"I stopped by this morning for breakfast and was pleasantly greeted by the employees at both the ordering and pick-up windows with big smiles and a friendly hello. The service was excellent and I didn't even have to ask for napkins, as they were readily available. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and served hot. I would give this place a 10/10 rating. Keep up the great work!"

I recently dined at this restaurant and found it to be clean with friendly staff. It is conveniently located right next to the River Medway, making it easy to find. There are also other fun attractions within a 5-minute walk. Guests can enjoy their meal while taking in the beautiful river views.

"I had a delightful impromptu birthday dinner here mid-week yesterday. The location is lovely, right by the castle and the River Medway. The menu offers a wide variety of options to choose from. We enjoyed our meals thoroughly, and the staff was both friendly and efficient. I highly recommend the generous seafood platter as a main course, and if you see the Cointreau chocolate orange cheesecake on the dessert menu, definitely go for it. Overall, a very tasty experience. "We wanted to celebrate a family occasion, and we were delighted with our experience. From the warm handshake at the entrance to the beautiful reception, the service was exceptional and incredibly accommodating. The food was outstanding, with a great selection, and we enjoyed delicious hot naan, pickles, and poppadoms. The young waiter was particularly polite and helpful, which was refreshing to see. The menu offered a fantastic variety, and everything came highly recommended. To make our celebration even more special, the restaurant surprised us with a lovely cake and candles. They also provided drinks and towels after dinner. I cannot recommend this wonderful gem of a restaurant highly enough. Thank you for an unforgettable, personalized evening. We can't wait to return!"

"I had ordered the Fish Platter Menu earlier that week for Good Friday 29/3/24 which was £22. I live alone and thought the time it would take me to buy all the ingredients and the hassle to cook, it would cost me than £22. The friendly receptionist called me the day before to find out what time I wanted to collect the Platter. On collection I was surprised to see how large the the Platter was. It consisted of a large Escovitch Fish, a smaller Bream, Fish Fritters, Mac Cheese, Corn on the Cob, Plaintain, Large portion of Rice and Peas, Gravy and Coleslaw. The food was absolutely delicious and as I said the portions were large, the food lasted me over 2 days, I was very impressed. I’ve also dined-in and done takeaways over the years and I’m never disappointed. Judy"

"I'm proud to call myself a weekly regular and I've been eating at Gina's cafe for many, many years. As someone who both enjoys food and travels a lot, I can, hand on heart, say that Gina's Cafe is my favourite cafe. Period. I've very rarely had a bad experience here, and I always leave satisfied. I'm a huge fan of the chicken curry with chips or the ham, cheese and mushroom omelette. The salad is very fresh and the chips are perfect! The staff are very pleasant and always take care to speak to my 6 year old son if he eats well, they let him choose a lolly before he leaves. Pricing is about what you'd expect from a cafe and the quality and cleanliness is superb. There is only one toilet, accessed from the garden, however it is clean. I would avoid trying to get a table at the busiest times it is normally very busy here and would recommend not sitting directly next to the front door or on the smallest tables if there is more than one person dining. There are some high chairs available, and a good selection of hot and cold drinks."
