Chips were awful, you could break your teeth wished i could day somethong positive but ive no idea how someone could fry chips so badly

I haven't been to this pub in a long time, but after coming back from the hospital and receiving some bad news, I decided to treat my wife to dinner. The food was delicious.

These people are just rude, the bloke on the phone was unable to string two sentences together and when he got frustrated put the phone down. When I called back a woman did the same. Save your self the trouble and order from The Village Chippy Brownhills. Speisekarte ansehen

Loved the experience there absolutely 10/10. Fish was evenly battered very very fresh, chips were beautifully coated in batter crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and kebab was very juicy and very fresh. One of the best chippys i’ve had!! Highly recommended

We ordered a big order from Mermaid fish bar in Walsall Wood. We have never had any problems before what so ever. The chips were greasy and stuck to the paper, the mushy peas were vile the curry sauce was just a cup of water. Ended up having to get a full refund and not eating. Won't be ordering again

Food was disgusting! Apparently battered chips are now the standard type of chips when you order “chips”. Who does that?! They weren’t even battered properly and looked like they just had **** attached to them that is from other food that has been fried. The doner meat was lacking in quality and quantity, it was under done not even a dog would eat that food! Speisekarte ansehen

Great service. All staff made extra effort to make a visit by two 90 year olds, one whom is blind, as enjoyable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble and much additional thought was put into service extra napkins, quiet seating area etc. staff always smiling and happy to help. Most food was great but chicken burger overly crispy and dry. Would really welcome the introduction of no alcohol wine.

This lovely chippy with friendly staff is not far from Walsall Wood library. It does lovely orange battered chips (normal chips are available too). They also sell normal chip shop items such as donor kebab, chicken kebabs, Pukka pies S.F chicken. They have everyday specials to suit all pockets, ranging from £1.50 to £10. The small fish orange chips, with mushy peas complimentary sausage is delicious. Well worth a visit to this lovely place. Opens at 11:45–14:00 16:45–23:00 Mon to Sat.

Absolutely Terrible Experience With This restaurant was short changed by a few pounds and only realised after checking order details contacted restaurant to let them know and woman was just very argumentative, had a call from the driver who was trying to say I was wrong even though I’d sent him the receipt for the amount off the online order he kept trying to get me to come outside my hotel (I’m heavily pregnant so refused for my safety as he was being very agressive) and after this he then proceeded to say “this is what all you whites are like cheapskate motherf**kers” Honestly avoid the food wasn’t impressive either burnt bits of donner in with the kebab as if it had been sitting in Bain M...
