Great for refreshments like coffee and cake after walking for awhile. Seating inside and outside. Beautiful historic building with two huge stained glass windows either side.

Unfortunately, there is a sign hanging in the restaurant that states, "no laptop washing on customer complaints." It's a shame because I had a full breakfast during work and was planning on spending more money on lunch, coffee, and cake. It's not like I'm not willing to pay. Nobody even acknowledged me at the bar.

Once a quiet cafe Michaelhouse is now very popular. Just off the hustle and bustle of Trinity Street the cafe is inside the old church but despite this it has a warm and modern feel. There are tables inside and outside as well as upstairs. There are some pews to sit in too. The food is good and locally sourced. A great spot so close to the city centre.(Some gravestones have been incorporated into the fabric of the building).

for a few years, we've come here, great caffe. in a former church with a sympathetic conversion of modern design features and materials that complement the historical building. had a huh and chorizo cassoulet, which was so generous was full of high-quality ingredients I asked myself if the court was a win for them. it is usually busy enough to create a good atmosphere, but not so busy they feel overcrowded. the seats extend into the former chancellor area, although this area has been shut down last time. the environment tends to attract literal demography.

We did not visit this restaurant for the food, so we cannot provide a review on that aspect. However, we would like to share our experience with the staff. On a Sunday afternoon at 4:15pm, my friend and I were wandering around Cambridge city center when she needed to use the restroom. Unfortunately, we did not realize the restaurant had already closed at 4pm, which was our mistake. Despite this, my friend entered the cafe hoping to use the facilities, but was rudely told to leave by a male staff member. Even after my friend promptly left the cafe, the staff member followed her outside and scolded her in front of other customers and locals. When we explained that we were unaware of the closin...
