Monty's - Speisekarte

Very nice breakfast on my way to the open. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Also the price was great value

I went to Monty's for the first time today, Friday, September 6th. Wow, what a fantastic meal. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely be coming back here. All the dishes being served looked amazing.

I hadn't been to Monty's since they moved to Church Street. The food was absolutely delicious and a great value for the price. I had the french toast and bacon, which was tasty and light. My wife had a veggie fry, which was also light and not greasy. Best of luck in the new location, it is definitely worth a visit! Speisekarte ansehen

I arrived near closing time (which I didn't realize) and was still served a delicious Roast Dinner and chicken dish for my daughter. The food was amazing, with the Roast Beef melting in my mouth. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This was my first time at this restaurant, as I am usually not in Ballymoney, but I would highly recommend Montys to anyone.

A delightful, old style cafe serving satisfying portions of well prepared food to a loyal (mostly local) clientele and the odd visitor like ourselves. The staff are very friendly and efficient. They have a comprehensive menu, including vegetarian options and kids, all at extremely competitive prices. A lovely place to visit while in Ballymoney and highly recommended.

Had never been in the old Montys on the high street. But decided to give the new location on church street a try, and so glad I did. A really lovely fry which came with good strong tea and a smile from friendly and efficient staff. I think this could be......NO.....this IS the best cafe in town! Keep up the good work. Popped in for a cheer myself up full barnyard breakfast and I was not disappointed. The breakfast was enormous and was served by very pleasant and attentive staff. There is only so much you can do with an Ulster fry but this was one of the best. It was not at all greasy and there was absolutely no fuss about the one substitution I requested. The most impressive thing for me was the lengths they went to with presentation. It was a very inviting plateful of food. I really can't fault Monty's.

A busy place which is bigger than it seems from the outside. It was served very quickly after ordering. I went for the small fry which was a bit disappointing as the egg was cooked too hard for me, and the bacon which was in short supply and not cooked crispy enough! Maybe I'm too picky. That said, I noticed the food being served around me looked both very appetising and in good, large portions. So, a mixed review but I'll give it another go at a quieter time of day and pick a different meal.

We visited here on Saturday night 27/7/2019 and unfortunately ours was not a good experience. They had run out of fish, chips garlic fries the only option was French fries. I ordered crispy chilli chicken, it was neither crispy or spicy in fact it was tasteless and very soggy. My partner ordered a mini fry and he said it was very greasy. You go up to the till to get a menu, back up to order and pay(before you get your food) and they bring your good to your table. We ordered our food a cold drink and tea this was handed over straight away but food then took about 20 minutes which meant tea was cold. We had to ask for more hot water.
