"‘Eat out to help out’ turned into ‘cram as many of you in and not give any care or personal touch!’I guess alarm bells should have rung when I was able to book a table on the night during this government scheme...wish I hadn’t !Full of trainee staff trying their best, but nobody guiding or directing them.Tables crammed in, no consideration to social distancing.Took over an hour and a half to receive starter.Although one waiter did come over after nearly 2 hours to see how we were, his excuse was the fact they were busy and had trainees. He offered to take off the price of the starter, but when the bill came this wasn’t honoured.The only time the manager appeared interested in us was when we were finished, he thrust the bill our way and wanted the table cleared to accommodate more customers who were queuing outside.This was a family reunion meal, first time we were able to be together since lockdown. My son often eats at this restaurant which is why we went, he was embarrassed at the service, quality and told us the portions were smaller than normal.Eat out to help out has not worked here as we will NOT be back and being Hayes residents do support local businesses- but sorry, not here any more!"

Food is never fresh and the minute the restaurant there is a fowl smell. Previously I when eating with my partner they put all their cutlery on the next table. I could have eaten at home if I wanted that. Even than the food was not fresh.
