Nando's Cambridge Leisure Park

The food used to be succulent and yummy. But recently, they just look like sad, shrivelled chicken that is dry and has no taste. What happened Nandos?

I would not recommend this chicken restaurant. The portions are tiny, the chicken is not properly cooked, and we had to wait for an hour on a Tuesday evening. The staff seemed disinterested. Avoid this place at all costs!

What’s is going on in this ‘restaurant’? I’m obviously not expecting gourmet food here but nandos always used to give quick tasty food. This place is dirty, fries covered in that salt (made it inedible), chicken was small gristly, and barely any meat. Not sure if this is just nandos generally now or just this one, seriously poor nowadays

I have beena Nando's customer for many years, and experienced many of their restuarants. The Cambridge Leisure Nando's is completely out of control. Delivery orders are routinely missing food, inside the restaurant staff won't complete orders and still forget items. Turnover seems very high and it's not clear what measures the company is taking to turn the tide. Nando's Cambridge is no longer fully operational, and I am scared to imagine what will be found at the next hygiene inspection. Avoid Nando's at Cambridge Leisure.

Have been to many a Nando's and always been pleased in the past. This visit was awful. Seated after about a 15 min wait despite plenty of tables being free. Ordered on the app straight away. No service at all to our table for 20 mins. Had to go and find a member of wait staff to ask where our drinks were. Food was stacking up on the passover without wait staff serving. Another 20 mins or so before our food was served. All the time the staff (not that there were many) seemed to be walking around without purpose. Food was OK when it finally arrived but, by then, our mood wasn't exactly buoyant! We won't be returning to this restaurant.

My chicken looked and tasted like charcoal, other half's chips were cold but at no point were we asked if everything was ok. (Were not left w a rooster and nobody in staff team noticed my attempts to complain. Service was lacking big time. Didn't have an opportunity to complain as dirty plates removed without a word so quickly i didn't have an opportunity to open my mouth. I left the charcoal level chicken skin clearly visible in disgust. I couldn't seem to catch any staff's attention to complain. The service at this restaurant was incredibly poor. They were out of wings and wedges, but failed to inform us until 20 minutes after we had placed our order. When we asked for plates to share our platters, we were told they were out of plates and had to wait for the dishwasher to finish before we could eat. Our food sat under heat lamps for an extended period of time and I had to plead with the kitchen staff to allow us to take it. Despite there being waiting staff and a manager present, they seemed completely disinterested in addressing our concerns. I have visited this Nando's several times in the past year. It is conveniently located near Cambridge Leisure but I have consistently been disappointed with the service. The other Nando's restaurants in Cambridge are much better in comparison. I can't understand why this particular restaurant falls short. The food is satisfactory, but the staff are inattentive, often chatting amongst themselves or avoiding eye contact. I usually use the app to order, as Nando's prefers, to minimize interaction but even then, the service is lacking. Came for a pre film mea at about 6.45 pm. Restaurant not that busy, so were seated straight away. First thing we noticed is how dirty the floor was (we were sticking to it as we walked), secondly our server pointed to a code on the (dirty) table and saying you know how to order (we didn 't actually) before walking off. As there seemed to be a problem with the app (girl at the counter having a very long argument with staff whilst pointing at her phone), we went and ordered from the main desk.
