New York Diner Takeaway

Second time this week for a bacon and egg sandwich, quality food, very friendly staff, silly cheap and delivered to my shop, can't ask for more, brilliant!!

Just visited with husband and sister coffee and bacon and egg sandwiches all for under £9,can't go wrong. Well cooked and quickly served will visit again if in the area and would highly recommend.

Always phone these guys for a hot pork apple and stuffing sandwich they are really tasty and always have plenty of filling. The spicy chicken wraps are really tasty as well plenty of salad comes with it. Speisekarte ansehen

Visit every week and whatever we've eaten from breakfasts though to lunches hasbeen freshly prepared and delicious. Friendly and attentive staff who take care to get things right. Wouldn't hesitant to recommend this place to anyone.

Called in here today after taking my car for an early morning service. My hunger pangs were soon sent packing as I tucked into the Mixed Grill with Mushrooms in a Sandwich, with Brown Sauce and a large mug of Coffee. Perfection on the palatte. Friendly helpful attentive staff, nice clean comfortable cafe. 10 out of 10 from me :

He left my car at Stoneacre just up on Canklow Road and needed somewhere to go for some lunch whilst I waited. This was the perfect place! Just a five min walk away. I chose a chicken panini and a cuppa. Lovely friendly girls in there. (Think they may have been family? Anyway it was the end of the day for them (closing at 2pm and so were clearing up but I didn’t feel in the way or anything. Spot on little spot. Would recommend! Speisekarte ansehen

Ive been ordering food from here for the past couple of months for colleges on site collecting there money and ordering the sandwiches (not once have they thanked me for doing this)last week i ordered just for me at 8 o'clock for a 9:45 deleviery they said this would be fine 9:45 came no sandwich 10 o'clock i phoned them. I spoke to a girl who said they had tried to contact me to say they where to busy to do my order so i told her i would not be ordering from there again she wasn't even bothered!!! Terrible you have been warned.

called in for Saturday light lunch , reading the menu board chose liver an onions, stating not on a bap, hoping for mash, but settling for tasty fries instead,mush peas,an mug o coffee,...all less than £4 . an large . yet this was their small portion , you need big bellies in this place, all cooked to how I like it too,, parking right outside the door, an as I was visiting Saturday football it was perfect 20min away from the main ground congestion .giving me easy exit, normaly café closes one oclock non match days, but three on match days, so summary, a great little clean old style café offering good cooked foods at low cost

There are now new owners of The New York Diner Takeaway, they are so friendly and it is not completely family run, service with a smile is defintely what you get here now, competely re-vamped inside, all gutted and cleaned out properly, with proper service now on offer, prices are very reasonable and the food is out of this world, especially for someone eating on the go! with space to sit and enjoy your breakfast with an up to date newspaper and a cup of hot tea/ coffee or hot chocolate, New York Diner is a perfect way to kick start the day, or to take a break during a busy day! As a customer I could not really ask for more and will definitely be returning quite few times in the future!!! Speisekarte ansehen
