Was looking for someplace to eat in London at 1am and this place was a blessing! The food wasn't expensive at all, the service was great and I especially enjoyed the Hong Kong style iced tea and coffee. Would definitely recommend, especially if you're on a night out and are craving some delicious food.

My prawn noodles soup was okay, my friend’s beef brisket noodles was nice. Staff were in a rush clearing out the table as soon as they saw we put down the chopsticks, kinda urged us to pay quickly by bringing the bill and pay machine right away though, and asked us to pay the added service charges without properly informing or giving options.

so it was a good experience. they have 2 days and the seating arrangement is in order, but what I impressed was their service. they were as fast as a minute when I ordered to eat and looked down to check my phone and there he lay with my eating all the table. This place is my personal favourite when it comes to oriental food. Chinatown has loads of restaurants serving the same dishes but somehow I like the taste of the food served here better than the others. The dishes that I regularly order are the Malaysian style fried rice, the Singapore style vermicelli noodles and the chicken fried noodles. 1. Food: The Chinese dishes here are average and can be found in any other restaurant in the area. There is nothing special about them. 2. Service: This was the worst service I have ever experienced. I have been here about 5 times with different people and have never received proper service. Today, the waiter at our table seemed visibly angry, throwing sweets and food plates onto the table without organizing them. He yelled at our table when we tried to get chopsticks, and attempted to cram five of us onto a table meant for four, constantly bothering us to move to a smaller table. One of my favourite restaurants in Chinatown. I have visited Old Town numerous times and each time their food is very consistent, delicious as well as sizeable portions. It has a very good menu with some interesting, different dishes (the Szechuan tripe is excellent) as well as the usual staples, which are all very tasty. The portions are large (perhaps even too large) but great for sharing. A few people have complained about rude service I have been here several times and never witnessed it. The service is swift and polite if a little terse but that fits in perfectly with the cafe type atmosphere; it's not a fine dining restaurant where the waiters fawn over you! I have found a lot of positive reviews for the old town 97, the year was significant as the end of the British manor in hongkong. we had a late lunch there before a Saturday not too long. they have a big lunch deal – £4.80 for a dish of rice or noodles with a free bowl of their daily suppe. we have fun for the char siu on fried hor that came out, the quite simple, but turned out to have a few well fried hor fun with a generic asian brown sauce and some pretty well cut char siu. a little chili oil (excellent wine) and it was a great dinner. the accompanying soup (poor bone, carrot and tomato) was a bonus. hmm I will not go too much about the ambiente of the place, because I have no attention to it. the main advantage of this place is the fact that it is open until 4 a.m. and if they like to eat after the start (who does not? they want to come here. Upon entering the resto we were ushered to our seat quickly the place was packed as it was on a sunday evening. Menus were handed out and they took our orders. I honestly felt rushed when we were ordering because the man who took our orders wasn 't smiling at all. Anyway, after maybe around 5 minutes, our freshly cooked meals arrived which is quite impressive considering how busy the place was! The spicy pork belly has the right amount of spiciness and the noodle soup tasted authentic with its generous amount of dumplings.
