Not the very fastest service, but who wants to rush whilst in Italy, however the food was great, especially the meat dishes.

Excellent food and service. We made dinner reservations since we were a large group of over 20 people. Restaurant handled such a large party very well. All the food came out at about the same time and was really good. Chitarra pasta was so fresh. Lamb was excellent as was the verdure (greens) and even the French fries (wedges) were crispy seasoned well. Everyone enjoyed the food. Only down side was it was unseasonably hot with no breeze, some fans would have been nice.

Location molto bella e con un bellissimo panorama al limitare della cittadina. Servizio molto cordiale. Menù molto interessante. Anticipasto tipico con le ferrarelle o nome simile.. che sono tipo waffle salate....molto particolare. Ottimi dal mio punto di vista i primi, mentre un po' troppo salati gli arrosticini, anche se sicuramente di qualità. Purtroppo non abbiamo provato i liquori che si producono nella genzianeria. Ottimo da abbinare ad una visita agli eremi. Molto consigliato sia per amici che per coppie

This osteria is unique in more than one way. It's located high above a very deep canyon in a beautiful village. The owner is a great sculptor and his work can be seen in a restaurant and in the village. They also make great liqueurs such as wild fennel limone you can buy. In a hot summer evening it was great to sit outside with a gentle wind blowing. Our antipasto was mind blowing at least 10 different salumis plus cheeses and a dish called Pallotte cac e ov (cheese and egg balls in a red sauce). Our pasta was delicious Chitarra in salsa di zafferano e salsiccia con ricotta stagionata affumicata di pecora but it can be too much after a generous antipasto.
