"My husband and I were there a few days ago for a business dinner with Roman friends. Beautiful place, ancient and furnished with style, in via S. Paolo alla Regola, in the center of Rome. The restaurant also has a fine wine cellar created in a Roman niche with original statues and frescoes of the time. The cuisine is authentic Roman: excellent carbonara and cacio e pepe; second courses of fish and meat; sweets according to tradition. Maximum hospitality and courtesy of the owners. The venue has had the honor of hosting, among others, Bill Clinton, George Clooney, Silvester Stallone, the Belgian Royal Family and Jane Fonda."

While our waiter was sort of friendly (not sure if he could not speak English or did not want to speak in English because certain things like he only wanted cash payment was very clear and coherent) when the bill came we couldn't really understand what we were being charged for and didn't have the opportunity to query it.
