"I have been frequenting this tavern for many years and I have always felt at home, which is why I am sorry to leave this review which I hope will be stimulating. I stopped by a few evenings ago and for the first time in many years I got up without having had dinner. They let me sit (after I had consumed an aperitif with a not entirely satisfactory vegetarian platter). I ordered a first course from the blackboard (tagliatelle with mushrooms) and after a few minutes the waiter came back to tell me that I would have to wait at least half an hour for my dish because the mushrooms were not ready (around 7.15pm). They could figure out whether to serve me something else cold vegetarian. Given that during the aperitif service I had also received a similar response for the potato balls (which had always been available on the counter for the aperitif time) and given the rudeness of some of the waiters at the counter, I got up and thanked I went out. For me, the Stellario has always been synonymous with hospitality. Always. At all hours of the day. For this reason, I invite the (very knowledgeable) managers to pay more attention to the methods of their staff (particularly those at the counter) and to some particular (vegetarian) needs. Furthermore, I had invited a colleague with whom I didn't make a great impression. I'm taking a break but I'll be back because I have faith in the managers and in the philosophy that has always driven the Stellario."
