"Real pub with real pub grub. Right near the walking areas so great to come into after a walk. We got lucky and got a table without booking, they were very accommodating to as many guests as they could but I would recommend booking. We had a rag pudding and a mixed gril. They don't skimp out on anything and everything was cooked well. The staff are also lovely. Plenty of tables inside and out the back (more picnic tables)."

Food excellent, location stunning, staff superb, choice of food and drink brilliant, pub itself is lovely and welcoming . We travelled from Stockport for a Sunday roast and wasn’t disappointed.well worth a visit

Visited for our 4th wedding anniversary, from arriving we were greeted by a young girl who wished us happy anniversary, food was wonderful and plenty of choice, our dessert came with which they had wrote happy anniversary in chocolate, this was such a perfect touch to a perfect meal, 5* and we will be visiting again Thank you so much , John n Dawn
