Friendly service, good food, good atmosphere. Take away always fast and excellent. Our favourite local restaurant. Been going regularly for over 18 years.

We visited Pagoda last night for the first time and it won't be our last. The food was delicious, every course as flavourful as the last. We ordered from the set menu and were not disappointed. There was lots of variety. The staff were excellent and very attentive. We will definitely return.

Four of us ate here Sunday evening and we were all very impressed. The staff we polite and friendly and the food was really good. Portion sizes and quality of ingredients was as good as I've ever had anywhere. 2 of us shared the banquet and 2 had their own starters and mains. All were amazing. Will defiantly be returning soon. Again I’d like to say we have voted with our feet my self and my friends have stayed away it’s been 5 months so that’s at least 20 visits to your restaurant at average £100 a head I hope your sheer rudeness begging us for a tip and trying to embarrass us has paid of , seems many more feel the same way !! By the look of your reviews People will tip you as they feel they want to not because you embarrass them or beg for a tip Shame on you !!

Terrible. Food was ok but service horrendous, we were rushed from the moment we came in to the point of been asked 5 times what we were ordering in the space of 5 minutes: Due to this asked for service charge to be removed and was told this was unfair because ‘we have stayed open for you’. They had not stayed open for us there were several other people in the restaurant. We advised the service charge was optional and due to the rude service we would like it removing, she continued to argue this was unfair and that they had stayed open just for us. Untrue. Avoid at all costs.

Would rate 0 if it was an option!!! We arrived here at 9:55pm the restaurant stated it shut at 11pm. We were rushed from the second we walked in, hadn’t even finished our course before they started bringing out other food! We hadn’t even been in the restaurant for half an hour by the time we had finished a set menu! Staff were horrendous, they added on a service charge which we politely asked to be taken off as we didn’t feel it worthy! The woman then got argumentative and said her staff had stayed longer to serve us. We reminded her they were open until 11pm and it was only 10:30pm. Absolutely appalling customer service! I found a hair in the middle of my food just as I started eating it, I called someone over they took the meal away then come back out and asked where I found it he hair in which part of the meal no apology or nothing. Asked if I wanted another meal I said no as this has put me off entirely. My partner then also didn’t eat his meal because this had put us both off. They brought the bill I went to pay (they had knocked just my meal off the bill) even though it had affected the whole meal and nothing was eaten. My family have been coming to the pagoda for over 15 years and the service is always impeccable. (Childhood favourite of mine) The food is authentic and amazing! There is something on the menu for everyone! Just the right amount of spices and sauces, not too salty!I’d recommend order a number of plates and sharing, so you get a taste of what the menu has to offer. The portions are generously sized meaning it great for couples or families! Wow !! I’ve been going there over 30 years and go several times a month Tonight was perfect and the food was lovely we ate chattered and when we asked for the bill there was a service charge of 10 percent which is annoying as we always leave a good tip so I paid my half of the bill and my friend paid the rest on his card but opted not to pay the service charge on principle , she asked him to pay half he declined so she said but the staff served you and you don’t want to pay a penny !
