"We came here after hearing great things and was a little disappointed as we left. I think the general feel of the place is great and the staff are nice enough but a few things really let it down for me. Firstly, we ordered the first round of drinks and that was great. I then ordered a smoothie but it never arrived (there was an apology when we left which was appreciated that it was acknowledged). Secondly, I ordered a club sandwich and when it arrived I was really disappointed. It arrived as a ham sandwich. I did expect the quality of the ham to be a little better than what arrived, and there wasn’t any chicken. As soon as I took it back, there was some chicken added to the plate and it then came back to me with an apology. Again, fair enough, but it did feel a little pricey at just over £9. I also ordered a slice of the large sausage roll that looked fantastic. I have to say that this did taste good, but was shocked to see that it cost £6.50 when the bill arrived. This was my fault as it wasn’t on the menu and I didn’t ask how much it was, it just felt overpriced. It seems to have a great reputation, and that’s great to see I love to see small businesses do well, but on this occasion we left frustrated."
