The bacon baps come with a couple of pieces of very fatty bacon (not rendered) only butter/marg/spread on one side of the roll. £4.25!!!!! Rip off.

I came for a nice cup of coffee, but my experience was spoiled by the owner shouting at his staff and talking very loudly about himself. It was a shame.

This charming little spot is perfect for a lunch outing. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The lunch options were delicious and the pastries looked absolutely amazing.

We used to visit this restaurant often last year and loved having breakfast for lunch. However, we were disappointed to discover that they now only offer sandwiches or soup for lunch. Unfortunately, the hot lunch options we were looking forward to are no longer available. We will have to look for another place to enjoy a hot lunch in the future.

Great spot opposite the BRI but apart from that the staff are lovely, fantastic food..especially the cinnamon buns and limoncello cake (can't remember all the ingredients but it was really delicious! Had the steak baguette and felafal and hummus roll for lunch before our hospital appointment, returned for cakes after it! Thank you for being so friendly and cheerful to brighten up a hospital trip!

Popped in on the way back from a hospital appointment and ordered two cinnamon buns. £6.60 came up on the card machine display however I was too embarrassed to say 'no thank you '. It didn 't help that none of the cakes or pastries had prices in front of them. £3.30 for what is essentially a Chelsea bun (without the currants sultanas) with cinnamon frosting on top. Yes they tasted nice but were way, way overpriced.

This is the second time in a month where I have been served a poor breakfast. Last time over microwaved mushrooms that had dried out. Today burnt dried bacon I didn’t ask for crispy). Dehydrated sausage. Mushy hash browns. My suspicion is this dish has been over microwaved. Warm bread which was supposed to be toast. You can’t charge £11 for breakfast and fail at every level. I frequently come here over the last 10 years and generally an enjoyable experience. But no brekkie for me going forward.

I've eaten here before and enjoyed the soup and the outdoor seating area downstairs. I was tired and hungry so popped in for a drink and something to eat. I paid by phone and only afterwards realised I'd paid £8.80 for a cup of tea and an egg roll to eat in. The egg roll was £6.50... and going dry and turning stale at 3.30pm. If I hadn't been so hungry and near the end of their day (closes 4pm), I'd have sent it back. When I queried the bill on leaving I was told it cost that much because I could have had salad with it.
