The pizza is delicious and the customer service is amazing. The choice of music is great and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

Very tasty and nice pizza's .Good atmosphere and friendly staff. I recommend everyone to visit this place and you won't regret. My son just loved their pizza and ice cream.

Used to be nice, now skimp on topping and this order came cremated. They won’t answer the phone and when leaving Deliveroo reviews they deny sending burnt food and you can’t reply

The incessant background music from the restaurant fills the square, making it impossible to escape even in the neighboring Travelodge. The bass and drums from the music seem to follow you to your room, disrupting any chance of peace. Luckily, the music stops in the evening, giving you an hour of quiet before bedtime.

I ordered this meal from UberEats because I have always been a fan of the pizza from this restaurant. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. To top it off, we received a free ice cream with a note asking for a review, which I am happy to provide. I noticed that less cheese is used when you order buffalo mozzarella, but it did not diminish the amazing flavor in any way. Speisekarte ansehen

Pizza 1889 Cambridge used to be managed by a sympathizer of Benito Mussolini. At least the pizza was good. Now it's managed by teenager. I am sure they are doing their best, but the quality is not there anymore. And other teenagers are effectively camping inside the limited seating space, turning a business into a farce. I am not sure if 1889 has a brand manager at all, the situation is ridiculous.

It was a good pizza. Probably the best in Cambridge. Now it does not have the shape of a pizza it come in all sorts of shapes according to whom is preparing it it has lot of flour left at the bottom and the ingredients are not as good as they were before. Most of the time is cold as they cook it in advance when you ask for a collection. Tried twice recently. Disappointed twice. Will never go back again. Bring back the old pizza guys. New staff seems to be clueless.

This review is about bad customer service as I can’t comment on the food. I preordered online. We live out of town so it’s a half hour drive into Cambridge. On the way I was very unwell and needed to quickly return home. We tried to call to cancel order, partner called and left a voicemail, and then emailed. We hoped to prevent the order being prepped/cooked (it was 20 minutes before pickup time) and we politely requested if a credit note was possible instead but of course acknowledged this may not be an option. However, neither the call or email has even been responded to, which is not much to ask of someone who has paid you £25. Speisekarte ansehen
