"Pizzeria L'Angelo is centrally located in Venice, not far from Piazza San Marco. The staff were friendly, the vegan options were clearly marked and not overly expensive. I got a lovely vegan sandwich (it was displayed in the deli counter with a sign, and was the last vegan one left so I grabbed it! , which was mixed vegetables with some kind of vegan cheese on focaccia bread. It was delicious heated up in the toaster oven. I also got a small vega pizza, with vegan cheese, spinach and olives, which was very tasty. There was a bit of a wait, which is understandable for ordering a whole pizza to be made for you. They do sell pizza by the slice from the deli counter, but it wasn't clear if that was an option for vegan pizzas. The only downside to this place is that it is takeaway only, with nowhere nearby to sit and eat. I ate my sandwich on the go, and brought the pizza back to our rental accomodation."

Quite a few explicit vegan options on the menu including pizza with blue cheese alternative and vegan prosciutto. There is also a very good marinara for 5€. Updated from previous review on 2024-03-13

Pizza fantastica, provata sia al taglio che a domicilio. Larga scelta, anche fra abbinamenti particolari ma azzeccati, come la squisitissima pizza con salsa di zucca, funghi e salsiccia. Personale gentile ed efficiente, e ottimo rapporto qualità-quantità-prezzo. Consigliatissimo!

We went back twice! Once to try the Alfa and again to try the Omega. Both were lovely. There was 7 vegan pizzas to choose from and they take no time at all to make them from scratch. Also such a good price! Once you leave the shop (facing out), we went left and continued on straight to sit in the square to eat our pizzas but you could easily take them back to your hotel.
