"da Benito is known by generations of Como families. I have frequently visited this pizzeria but this is the first time I have written a review. We turned up on a Sunday evening and knew we would have to wait for a table both because it is popular and also a pizza Sunday evening is a classic. But since we knew this there was no need to be stressed and a birra media helped pass the wait. The pizzas were excellent but I always advise at a busy location to ask for a pizza ben cotta to avoid them rushing out a slightly undercooked pizza to hurry things along. I don’t say that this is the case here but it is a worthy piece of advice anywhere. After coffee we were all offered a free glass of limoncello reflecting the origin of the owners and their hospitality."

la pizza è con cornicione alto, nella classica tradizione napoletana, ed è ben cotta. manca quel tocco in più. ottimo il servizio a tavola cosi come il rapporto qualità prezzo

We were recommended to go here by a local hotel owner who said it was the best pizza in Como and it is wonderful. I have eaten pizza in many places in the world (sad, I know) including Naples, the so called home of pizza. This was the best by a mile. Go there. They do other stuff too which we did to try, if pizza is not your thing
