Lovely meal here tonight with the family. No complaints from any of us. Pleasant, reliable staff. Would definitely recommend come back again. 5

I've been here a few times with no issues, but the latest batch of pancakes I had were disgusting to be honest. Worst Pancakes I've ever had. We won't be coming here again

It’s going like the Tavern this place. Dry food and there was a hair in my partner’s food. They still charged her for it even though it went back. The cutlery and the table were also unclean. I won’t bother again.

Walked in to be told come back in a few minutes as they had to clearer tables , I understand if they had just been busy so needed time to clearer down but could of been addressed in a different manner. Totally put me off even going back. Shocking service

The atmosphere at this restaurant is reminiscent of a street food stall, with a touch of elegance added by the paper cartons used for serving the meals. The garlic puffs to start were delicious, served in a Thai-style sauce with a kick of garlic, coconut milk, chilies, and coriander. The Cajun-rubbed steak was cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth, served with a choice of sweet potato or salt and pepper chips. We didn't have dessert, but the Donut ice cream sandwich caught my eye. The service from the lone waiter was attentive, despite being busy with two large dinner parties, and was excellent. The owner needs to learn some customer service skills. I am a manager of a restaurant and disgusted to be made to pay for a breakfast that I did not eat and didn’t like. The scrambled eggs where low quality eggs threw on top of thick flour tasteless pancakes and cold bacon. I politely asked the server if I could swap it for something else as I didn’t like it the dish. The server was lovely and seemed scared of the owner as she said he would not take it off the bill and I had to pay for something I did not eat. The owner would not come out to explain why I had to pay for a meal I did not like/eat. It made sense why the tavern and leaf restaurants close by where so full and this restaurant was...

Last night, my friends and I enjoyed visiting a restaurant that was bustling yet still comfortable, with a pleasant atmosphere that allowed for easy conversation at our table. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that their cocktails were 2 for 1 that evening, so we made it our mission to try them all, and each one was beautifully presented. The main courses were excellently prepared with no complaints, and the staff were happy to offer their expertise when asked for recommendations. After hearing rave reviews about the service and food we were extremely underwhelmed. We waited over 40 minutes for drinks when other tables had received there’s that came in after us (it wasn’t busy). The food was basic and not worth the price tag. We had to send eggs back that were not cooked properly and the waitress took a picture of the food while we were eating to “show the kitchen”…. and the service was worse than you get at McDonalds. We were polite but made it clear we weren’t happy and we we didn’t even receive a simple apology for the food/service we received. We couldn’t wait to leave so paid the bill and left.
